MY TRAVEL BUCKET LIST
Welcome to my channel! And today I’ll be sharing My Travel Bucket List with you guys and I hope this
will help you decide where to go in the future.
But first, I’ll ask a question. Why do you want to travel?
Well, travelling is not just about fun and excitement, it is also highly beneficial for your physical, mental
and emotional health as well. As for me, I want to travel to unwind and experience various things out
there, to meet new people and to try different foods that will surely satisfy my cravings, needs and
wants. And that being said, let’s proceed.
LET’S GO LOCAL
First stop, VIGAN!
VIGAN
Vigan is one of Philippines’ most beautiful cities, as it showcases the Spanish heritage of the country. It is
located in the northern part of the Philippines and its historical center, which is called the heritage
village, is listed on the UNESCO world heritage list since 2 December 1999 for its unique Spanish colonial
history in Asia and the very well preserved Spanish monumental buildings which where build in the 18th
century. I want to go to Vigan to personally visit the Calle Crisologo-Mena Crisologo Street to see the
mestizo district which is filled with Spanish-style houses and to experience being transported back to the
period of Philipine Spanish Colonial era while riding a Kalesa. But of course, there are also other places
to consider like the Baluarte Vigan-Fortress of Vigan, Bantay Belfry, Crisologo Museum, Father Burgos
Museum, Leona Florentino House, Religious Museums in Vigan. And for the food, I want to try the
famous Vigan empanada and Longganisa and Kankanen. And your trip wouldn’t be complete without
taking home souvenirs. If you want cheap and authentic shopping find the best place to go is to the
Vigan’s Public Market which can be found within proximity of the Partas Bus Station. And since I want to
feel ancient, I would prefer to buy antique decors.
NEXT STOP, ...
PALAWAN
Palawan is an archipelagic province of the Philippines, and occupies the western edge of the country.
Palawan is a slice of heaven, a sliver of an island that teems with exotic wildlife, quaint fishing villages
and UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has been constantly featured in many international “Best in the
World” list Thanks to its rich and diverse flora and fauna, and much-preserved natural attractions. Quite
simply, Palawan has the best beaches not only in the Philippines, but in all southeast Asia. The best part?
Only a fraction of it is known. I want to explore Palawan to personally see the world’s second largest
subterranean river which is the Puerto Princesa Underground River, to see the beauty of the thousand
different marine life in the Tubbataha Reefs by doing snorkeling and sea diving, and of course the
different lakes and beaches in Coron and El Nido. Jumping to foods, I want to try the Lato Seaweed also
known as/or sea grapes or green caviar that is a very popular dish in Palawan, I also want to try eating
exotic foods that’s why I would definitely try to eat the Tamilok or known as woodworm that is one of
the most popular in Palawan. And if you're thinking of buying souvenirs here are some of the must buy
in Palawan. Palawan Tribal Craft, Wild Pig Figurine, Biday, Rain Maker or Rain Stick, Pearls and Pearl
Jewelries, Food delicacies (Cashews/ Kasoy, Honey, Buti, Dried fish/ Daing, Tuna in oil in the glass jar,
Dried Banana Chips, Turmeric and Ginger tea, Polvoron biscuits, Coconut jam.
OUR LAST STOP IS, …
SIARGAO
The Surfing Capital of the Philippines. Once a well-kept secret in surfing circles, the island of Siargao has
slowly become one of the most sought-after destinations in the world. A tear-drop shaped island is
recognized by the Premium travel magazine Conde Nast Traveler and named Siargao the world's most
beautiful island in 2018. With a total land area of only 437 square kilometers, the entire Siargao Island
can be circumnavigated in less than a day. World-class surf spots, sparkling white sand islets, turquoise
tide pools, and palm tree-laden lagoons are just within meters of each other. I want to visit Siargao to
personally see the most-well known waves worldwide which is in what they called Cloud 9 and to
experience how to surf and do island-hopping as well. I also want to visit its beautiful beaches especially
the Naked Island and its pure white sand and crystal-clear water.
AND NOW LET’S GO INTERNATIONAL!!!
JAPAN
Japan is one of the largest and most highly developed country in the world because of its well-educated,
industrious workforce and its large affluent population makes it one of the world’s biggest market
places. It is ironic to hear the saying about “Japan, Japan sagot sa kahirapan” because truly Japan is no.1
in the world is when it comes to manufacturing and because all of its people are very hard working and
productive. Japan is the first place I want to visit internationally in the future because I’m a huge fan of
anime and I want to go to Tokyo to visit different shops that sells different manga, like the Jump shop,
One Piece Mugiwara Store, Tokyo Character Street, Manarake, Gamers in Akihabara, Akiba Culture
Zone, Animate, K-Books, Taco Che and the Nakano Broadway. I also want to visit different Shinto shrines
and do ceremonies while wearing a kimono. I am also fascinated with their foods for its unique and
amazing taste. Eating sushi while reading manga in a kimono would be amazing.
NEXT IS, …
SPAIN
From sun-drenched archipelagos and bustling urban cities to snowcapped mountains and semi-arid
deserts, Spain epitomizes geographical diversity. As the meeting point of the Atlantic Ocean and
Mediterranean Sea, this vast country offers some of Europe’s most dramatic landscapes, as well as some
of its tastiest cuisine. Going back to why I wanted to go to Vigan is similar to why I wanted to go to
Spain, I want to feel and experience the life of ancient civilization. One of the reasons as to why I wanted
to visit Spain is because of the movie of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla titled Barcelona, and I am
drawn in the scene where they show the Basilica I Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Familia or well known
as Sagrada Familia that has an unending construction and up until now is not yet finished. Of course, the
Spanish cuisine that is very unique and has a great variety of taste.
LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST IS, ...
ICELAND
Iceland is a Nordic Island country in the North Atlantic Ocean and the most sparsely populated country
in Europe. Iceland is called the “Land of Fire and Ice” because it is a country of extremes, with glaciers
and volcanic springs located next to each other. Iceland is a small island country located near the Arctic
Circle, between Greenland and the European mainland. I want to go to Iceland to see the different
waterfalls, to feel the cold breeze that will linger in my body and to hear the famous Norse Mythology
and folklore. And the most important reason why I wanted to go to Iceland is because of its beautiful
and stunning view of the Northern Lights. And lastly, I want to try Iceland’s alcoholic drink Brennivin that
is also called “Black Death”.
And that ends our video for today, I hope that it helps you at somethings especially in considering where
to travel.
