RESOLUTION NO.2 Series of 2023
RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN
FOR THE YEAR 2023 AMOUNTING TO PHP 150, 908.00
WHEREAS, gender equality is considered a critical element in achieving decent work for all men and
women, in order to effect social and institutional change that leads to sustainable development with equity
and equality.
WHEREAS, the gender issues in Barangay Paligawan, Silang , Cavite are unequal employment
opportunities between men and women and status of VAWC Functionality which rated as Matured.
WHEREAS, the said plan refers to Medical and Livelihood Assistance with starter kit for 40 unemployed
women (housewives) for client focused and in Organization Focused refers to the creation of Barangay
Ordinance for VAWC and procurement of unavailable equipment like 1 unit of laptop, recorder, camera and
cellular phone for Barangay hotline.
WHEREAS, Livelihood Assistance helps to reduce poverty and inequality by generating employment among
poor households while creating Barangay Ordinance for VAWC and purchasing of unavailable equipment’s.
needed in VAWC Room helps to improve the VAWC Functionality, from matured to ideal.
NOW THEREFORE: on motion of Hon. Ederlita D. Rosal, VAW Focal Person and Kagawad Committee on
Women and Family , duly seconded by Hon. Roberto T. Almendras, Chairman on Appropriation and Budget
on Finance and the rest of the body, be it.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the copies of this resolution be furnished to all agencies concerned for their
information, reference and appropriate action.

RESOLUTION NO.3 SERIES 2022
RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING BARANGAY COULCIL FOR THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN
(BCPC) ACTION PLAN FOR THE YEAR 2022 AMOUNTING TO 17, 340.00.
WHEREAS, it has been agreed by the Sangguniang Barangay Members of this Barangay during the session dated
April 14, 2022 approving and adopting the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children Action Plan of Barangay
Paligawan, Silang, Cavite for the year 2022.
WHEREAS, Article 87 of Presidential Decree 603 (Children and Youth Welfare Code) states that, “every Barangay
Council shall encourage the organization of a Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) and shall
coordinate with the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC) in drawing and implementing plans for the promotion
of child and youth welfare”.
WHEREAS, it helps to protect and assist children in need of special protection, and refer cases filed against child
abusers to proper agencies; Monitor situational reports on children, prepare quarterly updates; and perform such
other function and other related laws especially in matters of child and parent education, health, entertainment, etc.
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Ederlita D. Rosal, Committee on Women and Family, duly seconded by the
rest of the body, the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children Action Plan has been formulated and approved
by the body. BE IT.
RESOLVED FURTHER, the copies of this resolution shall furnishe to the other concerned for their information
appropriate action.
