Skills Enhancement Training and Pre-Assessment for National
Certification II of Grade 12 TVL Cookery

JANUARY 10 – FEBRUARY 3, 2022


 Registration of the Grade 12 TVL COOKERY with their Parents.
Registration of the participants was done before the opening
program. Skills Enhancement Training and Pre-Assessment for
National Certification II of Grade 12 TVL Cookery.
 Opening Program and Orientation
Ms. Lyza A. Abinal, the master of ceremonies, formally
kicked off the activity with an opening program. On the other
hand, Ms. Rizzalyn A. Evidor led the opening prayer, which was
followed by Ms. Rosana Candelaria's rendition of the national
anthem. Furthermore, Mr. David V. Ortiola, SHS Coordinator and
TVL COOKERY Adviser, presented the participants as part of the
opening program, and they were oriented by TVL COOKERY
Subject Teacher, Mr. Salgie P. Sernal, and SPJ International
Technology Institute Inc. The trainers, Ms. Eliza Joy Primavera
and Gemma Prila, ensured that the activity flowed smoothly and
efficiently.

 Skills Enhancement Training Proper
After the opening program, the Skills Enhancement Training
proper was done by the Grade 12 TVL Cookery. The students
performed their tasks actively. Mrs. Gemma Prila was the one who
facilitated the students with their tasks.

 Pre-Assessment Training Proper


Pre-assessment training required Grade 12 TVL Cookery
students to prepare dishes from eight different cuisines, including
appetizers, sandwiches, pasta, soup, vegetable dishes, meat dishes,
seafood dishes, and desserts. Mrs. Delia S. Sayson, our school head,
was observing them as they completed the task.
 Closing Program
Rose Singson, a Grade 12 TVL Cookery student, led the
invocation, which was followed by the national anthem, which was led
by Mary Rose Monedero, also a Grade 12 TVL Cookery student.
Then, Ma'am Delia S. Sayson, LHS school head, and the SHS
Coordinator, Sir David V. Ortiola, and TVL Cookery teacher, Sir
Salgie P. Sernal, then awarded Certificates of Completion to the
students who participated and completed the Skills Enhancement
Training and Pre-Assessment.
After the awarding of the certificates, the school head, Ma’am
Delia imparted an inspirational and encouraging message to the Grade
12 TVL Cookery students. The participants received certificates of
participation awarded by the proponents and the school principal. On
the latter part of the program, Mr. Salgie P. Sernal gave his closing
remarks.
