Adoremus in aeternum (St. Michael Hymnal, no. 407)
We will adore for eternity the most holy Sacrament. Ps. Praise the Lord, all ye
nations: praise Him all ye peoples. Because his mercy is confirmed upon us:
and the truth of the Lord remains forever. Glory be to the Father, and to the
Son, and to the Holy Ghost: As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall
be, world without end. Amen.
Reading – Revelation 5:11-14 (RSV)
Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and living creatures and the
elders the voice of many angels, numbering myriads or myriads and
thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who
was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and
glory and blessing!” And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and
under the earth and in the sea, and all therein, saying, “To him who sits upon
the throne sand to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might for
ever and ever!” And the four living creatures said, “Amen!” and the elders fell
down and worshiped.
Prayer: O Jesus Christ, we acknowledge Thee as universal King. All that has
been made, has been created for Thee. Exercise all Thy rights over us. We
renew our baptismal vows, renouncing Satan, his pomps and his works; and
we promise to live as a good Christians. In particular do we pledge ourselves
to labor, to the best of our ability, for the triumph of the rights of God and Thy
Church. Divine Heart of Jesus, to Thee do we proffer our poor services,
laboring that all hearts may acknowledge Thy Sacred Kingship, and that thus
the reign of Thy peace be established throughout the whole universe. Amen.

Praise, My Soul, the King of Heaven (St. Michael Hymnal, no. 716)
Praise, my soul, the King of Heaven; Frail as summer’s flower we flourish,
To His feet thy tribute bring. Blows the wind and it is gone;
Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven, But while mortals rise and perish
Evermore His praises sing: Our God lives unchanging on,
Alleluia! Alleluia! Praise Him, Praise Him, Hallelujah
Praise the everlasting King. Praise the High Eternal One!
Praise Him for His grace and favor Angels, help us to adore Him;
To our fathers in distress. Ye behold Him face to face;
Praise Him still the same as ever, Sun and moon, bow down before Him,
Slow to chide, and swift to bless. Dwellers all in time and space.
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Glorious in His faithfulness. Praise with us the God of grace.
Fatherlike He tends and spares us;
Well our feeble frame He knows.
In His hands He gently bears us,
Rescues us from all our foes.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Widely yet His mercy flows.
Ave Verum Corpus
Reading – Psalm 2:8-12 (RSV)
Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the
earth your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron, and dash
them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.” Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be
warned, O rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, with trembling rejoice,
lest he be angry, and you perish in the way; for his wrath is quickly kindled.
Blessed are all who take refuge in him.
Prayer: We pray Thee, O Almighty and Eternal God, who through Jesus Christ
hast revealed Thy glory to all nations, to preserve the works of Thy mercy; that
Thy Church, being spread through the whole world, may continue, with
unchanging faith, in the confession of Thy name. We pray Thee, who alone art
good and holy, to endow with heavenly knowledge, sincere zeal, and sanctity
of life our all bishops, priests, and deacons. We recommend likewise to Thy
unbounded mercy all our brethren and fellow-citizens, throughout the United
States, that they may be blessed in the knowledge, and sanctified in the
observance of most holy law; that they may be preserved in union, and in that
peace which the world cannot give; and, after enjoying the blessings of this
life, be admitted to those which are eternal. Finally, we pray Thee, O Lord of
mercy, to remember the souls of Thy servants departed who are gone before
us with the sign of faith, and repose in the sleep of peace. To these, O Lord,
and to all that rest in Christ, grant, we beseech Thee, a place of refreshment,
light, and everlasting peace, through the same Jesus Christ, our Lord and
Savior. Amen.

Christus Vincit, Christus Regnat, Christus Imperat
(St. Michael Hymnal, no. 479)
Christus vincit, Christus regnat, Christus, Christus, imperat.
Christ conquers, Christ rules, Christ commands
- The Lord said to my Lord: * Sit Thou at my right hand. Until I make Thy
enemies * Thy footstool.
- The Lord will send forth the scepter of Thy power out of Sion * rule Thou in
the midst of Thy enemies. With Thee is the principality in the day of Thy
strength: in the brightness of the saints; * from the womb before the day star I
begot Thee.
- The Lord hath sworn, and he will not repent: Thou are a priest for ever
according to the order of Melchisedech. The Lord at Thy right hand * hath
broken kings in the day of his wrath.
- He shall judge among nations, He shall fill ruins: He shall crush the heads in
the land of many. He shall drink of the torrent in the way: * therefore shall He
lift up the head.
- Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, * and to the Holy Ghost.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.
Sedebit Dominus Rex (Communion Antiphon for Christ the King)
Translation: The Lord will sit on his royal throne for ever; the Lord will bless
his people in peace.
Reading – Psalm 29 [28]:10 (RSV)
The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord sits enthroned as king for
ever. May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people
with peace!
Prayer: Most sweet Jesus, Redeemer of the human race, look down upon us
humbly prostrate before you. We are yours, and yours we wish to be; but to be
more surely united with you, behold each one of us freely consecrates himself
today to your Most Sacred Heart. Many indeed have never known you; many,
too, despising your precepts, have rejected you. Have mercy on them all, most
merciful Jesus, and draw them to your Sacred Heart. Be King, O Lord, not
only of the faithful who have never forsaken you, but also of the prodigal
children who have abandoned you; grant that they may quickly return to their
Father's house, lest they die of wretchedness and hunger. Be King of those
who are deceived by erroneous opinions, or whom discord keeps aloof, and
call them back to the harbor of truth and the unity of faith, so that soon there
may be but one flock and one Shepherd. Grant, O Lord, to your Church
assurance of freedom and immunity from harm; give tranquility of order to all
nations; make the earth resound from pole to pole with one cry: Praise to the
divine Heart that wrought our salvation; to it be glory and honor for ever.
Amen.
