Disassemble manual
Introduction:

This document describes how to disassemble a defect module and how to set up at work bench
for repair. For assembly apply instructions in reverse order

Taking out PSA X035 motherboard assy.

1 Dismantle casing (X040) remove all twelve M3 black countersunk (X049) (Picture 1)

2 Support speaker connections as given in picture 2 and unscrew nuts (10x)

3 Disconnect connectors and unscrew mech assy (M3x4 + spring) (X048) (3x)(picture 3)

4 Take out the mother board X035 (3122 423 32940) and fixate the speaker plugs by
placing back the speaker plug nuts (10x) (At re-assembly take care that distance stud bush
(X057) is correctly positioned.

Taking out PSA 2

1 Unscrew cover (X042) M3 black countersunk(X049) (2x) at top side (Picture 4)

2 Also remove mech assy (M3x4 + spring) (X048) at bottom side (8x) (picture 5)

3 To de-mount PSA 2 unscrew mech assy (M3x4 + spring) (X048) (4x) and disconnect
cable assy X76,X77 and X071. While taking out PSA 1 remind the distance stud X056
(picture 6)

3 To de-mount PSA 1 unscrew mech assy (M3x4 + spring) (X048) (4x). While taking out
PSA 1 remind the distance stud X056 (picture 6)

1. Unscrew hex nut (X053) and 2,9mm Philips (X050) of PSA input board (X036)
(picture 8)

1 Remove mother board as described at the top section of this document.


2. Unscrew the nuts (X059) and take of the washer (X058) (Picture 9)

Work bench set up for repair

In this section is described how to come to a method for repairs/measurements at the work
bench with demounted units. Needed cable assemblies can be taken from the unit itself,
however ordering an additional cable assembling set, could be of some convenience.

Warning, as the primary section of the power supplies is live part,


always use an insulation transformer between the unit mains
connector and the mains. Never touch the life parts of the power
supplies while operating.
A lab supply can also be used. Needed voltages are +35V, -35V, +15V, -15V
Set up for measurements at the satellite channels is given in picture 10

Note that for this set up at the supply pin 4 & 5 of X204 need to be interconnected. Do not
forget to remove this connection at end of repair.

Work bench set up for measuring/testing Amp50

A workbench set up for the Amp 50 is given in picture 12. Load at pin 1 & 2 is 4ohm 100W
(depending at output power)

Tip; Cable assemblies from unit do fit at the Amp 50 connector. However if used for at Amp 50,
this cable assembly may not be used in the unit any more. Order additional cable assy’s and
make them custom for testing Amp 50
