Seatwork/Assignment 4 Lesson 7

In your activity template, write your comment on how globalization spearheaded the global
influences on the subcultures below, choose only 3 topics. Save in your google drive today.

1. Religion 4. Clothes
2. Food 5. Movies
3. Language 6. Music
These three topics is based on my own experiences and ideas.
1. Food – The majority of people enjoy eating, and we enjoy discovering and tasting new goods
both within and outside of the country. In today's world, when technology is widely used, many
video makers and influencers have used the platform to capture food from their own countries.
Korean cuisines are popular in our country, with milk teas and samgyupsal being sold
everywhere. This is how globalization affects each country: it spreads, grows, inspires, and
shares information. It's fantastic because, thanks to globalization, you can sample the cuisine of
others even if you can't travel to the nations you want.
2. Language – A lot of telenovelas, films, and television programs have influenced the language
and accent used in several nations. To understand what the individual was saying, the majority
of them tended to study and acquire the language. Many Koreans teach Hangul in our country,
and the majority of them live here. Filipinos also travel to other nations to teach English and
learn a new language. People are motivated to study it for a variety of reasons, and as a result
of globalization, the language is expanding, evolving, and spreading. Furthermore, language is
important for individuals to communicate and comprehend themselves, which is why they are
eager to learn and discover new languages that they may use in their daily lives.
3. Music – Music is loved by people depending on the genre and story behind it. Music, in my
opinion, is the most influenced by globalization because each country has its unique
masterpiece that people enjoy hearing. When a song becomes popular, other countries will
either remake it or take the tune or concept to produce a new one as a result of globalization.
There's also the term "concert," which refers to performers going on a tour to various locations
to share their talents and sing. For instance, in our country, K-pop dominates their songs and
bops the listeners; a large number of them enjoy it, therefore the music spreads and inspires
others to do and do the same thing.
