“The Mystery Box”
The teacher will instruct learners to dance while passing the
mystery box when the music starts playing.
The student holding the mystery box when the music stops will
pick a question and answer it.
Questions:
Who is your crush?
What is your favorite movie?
What is the last thing you ate?
Where did you come from?
Why are you studying?
How are you today?
4. Lesson Presentation
Presentation of objectives and discussion of the lesson.
WHAT – the interrogative question “what” is used if you are
asking information about something.
Example: What is your name?
WHO – the interrogative word “who” is used when you
want to inquire about a person or about people.
Example: Who is that artist?
WHEN – is used to refer to a time or an occasion.
Example: When is Joana’s birthday?
WHERE – is used when referring to a place or location.
Example: Where are you going for college?
WHY – is used to obtain an explanation or a reason.
Example: Why are you so upset about it?
HOW – is used to describe the manner that something is
done.
Example: How are you going to make it?
A. Activity
The class will be divided into four groups.
Each group must provide the correct WH word to each question.
The teacher will be giving a cartolina and a markerfor each
group for them to write their answers.
Each group must wait for the teachers signal before they raise
their answers.
The group who gains the most number of points will be the
winner.

V. Assignment
List at least 5 WH-questions that you want to ask to your Father,
Mother, Sister, or any loved one. Your answers should be written
in your blue notebook and will be submitted tomorrow.
