I. INTRODUCTION
Fertilizers are chemical substances supplied to the crops to increase their productivity.
These are used by the farmers daily to increase the crop yield. The fertilizers contain the
essential nutrients required by the plants, including nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus. They
enhance the water retention capacity of the soil and also increase its fertility. There are two
different types of fertilizers. The Inorganic such as Nitrogen Fertilizer Phosphorus Fertilizer,
Potassium Fertilizer and Organic fertilizer like Agricultural waste, livestock manure, municipal
sludge (BYJUS (2019)
Inorganic fertilizers are chemical fertilizers that contain nutrient elements for the growth
of crops made by chemical means. Organic fertilizers are natural fertilizers obtained from plants
and animals. It enriches the soil with carbonic compounds essential for plant growth. Organic
fertilizers increase the organic matter content of the soil, promotes the reproduction of
microorganisms, and changes the physical and chemical properties of the soil. It is considered to
be one of the main nutrients for green food.
Using manure compost in the garden has numerous benefits. Manure is packed with nutrients that
plants need, like nitrogen. Using manure as fertilizer keeps plants healthy and green. In order to maximize
the benefits of manure compost in the garden, proper application is vital. One of the best ways to use
manure as plant fertilizer is by mixing it in with compost. Composting manure eliminates the possibility
of burning the plants. Another option is to till it into the soil prior to spring planting, such as during fall or
winter. Generally, fall is the best time to use manure in the garden. This allows plenty of time for the
manure to break down, eliminating the threat of burning plants in the garden. Well-aged manure on its
own also makes a great fertilizer for garden plants. Generally, horse, cow, and chicken manure are the
most commonly used for manure fertilizer. Some people also use sheep and rabbit manure. While most
types of manure can be purchased from garden centers, oftentimes, you can find farmers or horse owners
that are more than happy to give it away.( Nikki Tilley. 2021)
The aim of the research was to find out what nutrients were abundant in the soil for
eggplant growth. Because the output of chili is limited by a lack of fertility, soil fertility has a
significant influence on the cost of production. For fertilisation, it requires at least certain main
nutrients. Any of those nutritional deficit will diminish production. The earth provides the
majority of micronutrients.
One of the most common vegetables is eggplant (Solanum melongena L.), commonly known as
aubergine, brinjal, or guinea squash.of the Solananceae night shade family's non-tuberous species
The Solanum variations L. melongena exhibit a variety of fruit shapes and colors, including
round and egg-shaped fruits from white, yellow, green, and purple pigmentation to long club
shaped; and from white, yellow, green, and purple pigmentation to almost black It is a valuable
crop throughout Asia, Africa, and the subtropics (India, for example). It is also grown in various
warm temperate regions of the United States. South America and the Mediterranean Eggplant
fruits are well-known for their low calorie content. mineral composition that is favorable to
human health They're also high in antioxidants. potassium, magnesium, calcium, and iron are all
minerals.

III. METHODS
Collect soil from the field or garden (free with manure, fertilizer, waste and other materials.
Mix the soil and remove unnecessary materials.
Prepare 12 pots (6 liter bottle/plastic or sacks/small timba) (4 treatments with 3 replication) with
capacity of 7 kg soil.
Put 7kg in each pot (make sure pots have same amount of soil).
Plant 1 seedling of your choice in each pots.
Water the plant equally at the same time.

Treatment 2: application of organic fertilizer As the rate of efficiency was clearly stated in Table,
it was best suggested to use 7 kg of soil.
V. CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION
In fertilizer trials with three treatments and three replications, the best advise is to apply organic
fertilizer in seven kg of soil in Treatment 2, which resulted in the fastest growth and largest yield and
treatment 2 is the only has a flower for 1 week. The plants are in good shape. Carabao dung is a good
source of important nutrients like nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), sulphur (S), magnesium
(Mg), and calcium (Ca), as well as several micronutrients. The chemical, biological, and physical
elements of soil quality are all affected when manure is added. With application and integration into soils,
manure promotes plant productivity, soil organic matter and structure, water infiltration and holding
capacity, and can minimize sediment loss and erosion over time. In soils, composted manure can boost
enzyme activity and bacterial diversity. Cow dung is an excellent general fertilizer. It contains a nice mix
of nutrients and is low in nitrogen, so it won't burn your sensitive plants. Furthermore, because a cow's
four stomachs properly digest its meal, very few weed seeds make it through, so you don't have to be
concerned. Wait until it's completely dry before adding it to the compost pile to avoid unwanted odors.
Carabao dung was proven to be useful and effective as a compost activator, as well as improving the
nutritional content of the compost.
