El Madina / The Bright Moon

In the year 611 AD, at the age of 40 years, Muhammad SAW was appointed by Allah to be a
prophet. He spread the messages in Mecca, his hometown. At first he was respected and trusted by
the people of Mecca. But, suddenly most of them turned their backs on the Messenger of Allah and
opposed him because of the messages he brought. Only a few people want to come with their faith
and struggling together with Rasulullah, Peace and Blessing be upon him.

Abu Jahal : I can’t stand to see them praying and walking around so free

Teman Abu Jahal : Peace, Abu Jahal. Where swords have failed us, words shall cut deep

Abu Jahal : Ah! Our Poets!

Teman Abu Jahal : Even Abu Lahab is doing well

Abu Lahab : Beware, Friends from afar! My nephew over there has revolution in his
heart! He says he’s a prophet. But the fact, he wanna be the King

People : Make him suffer!

Kafir Quraisy : When Muhammad says our ways are wicked. When he says our Gods are
nothing more than silent stone. He’s not only attacking you. He’s attacking
your fathers! He’s saying they were wicked and stupid! Shall we endure such
dishonor?

Bilal : It won’t be long before the beatings begin.

Teman Bilal : And now there’s no Abu Talib to protect us and no where to go

Bara : I am Bara! I came last year with twelve others to hear the prophet.

Bilal : Ah! From Yastrib?

Bara : Yeah! We follow islam now. With all our heart

Teman bilal : You hear that? Twelve believers in Yastrib!

Bara : No. Hundreds. The Prophet must come to Yastrib. We need...

Bilal : ssst! We can't talk now. The Messenger of God will meet you on the hill at
Akaba tonight

In the hill at Akaba. Rasulullah SAW and the people from Yastrib talk about a very important
agreement in history. And now we called it as “Aqabah Agreement”

Bara : Rasulullah, please say you'll come to Yastrib. Our city is filled with
bloodshed, brother fighting brother. Only you and your message can bring
peace. Say you'll come. If you do, we promise to protect and defend you.

Teman Bara : God has opened the door, O Messenger of God.

The Prophet, peace and blessing be upon him, accepted! And he instructed all of the muslims to
leave for Yastrib in the silent of the night.

Boy : I'm too scared to leave at night, mom.

Girl : Why couldn't we leave with everyone else?

Mom : Ssst! We couldn't all leave at the same time it would be too dangerous

Dad : it's our time

Kafir Quraisy looked for muslims in their every house. But nothing. All of the muslims has gone,
but some.

Kafir Quraisy 1 : Muslims has gone. But Muhammad is protected by someone. He is still
here. It's time for us to decide what to do with Muhammad.

Kafir 2 : throw him in prison

Kafir 3 : No. Exile the man

Kafir 2 : Yeah, yeah! Take him to the edge of the desert and drop him off!

Kafir 4 : Let him go! He's out of Mecca. Isn't that what we've wanted?

Abu Jahal : Not if he's going to build an empire in Yastrib!

Abu Lahab : Well, what if we...

Syaiton : Kill him!

Kafir 4 : But whoever kills him will be attacked by Muhammad's clan and others.
Who will be the one?

Syaiton : Who said it must be just one? Take one strong man from each clan and kill
him together. That way, the blood of Muhammad will be on everyone's
hands. Then there can be no revenge.

All Kafir : laughing (Setan ilang) Where is he?

The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, knew of their plot. And that night, he asked his
cousin Ali, God's blessing be upon him, to sleep in the Prophet's bed. Knowing no harm would come
to him

Assasin 1 : He is there. When do we go in?

Abu Jahal : We don't. Wait until he leaves the house for his morning prayers, and
then...

Assasin 1 : ngeluarin pedang

Abu Jahal : angguk”

As the night drew on, the Prophet, peace be upon him, prayed. And one by one, the assasins fell
asleep. Rasulullah SAW succeed went out from his house to Abu Bakr. Together, they left Mecca and
hid in a nearby mountain cave.

Kafir 5 : Are you All waiting here for Muhammad? I passed him hours ago on his
way out of town.
 Abu Jahal : That's impossible! (Ke kamar rasul, buka selimut) where is he? One hundred
camels to the man who finds him. Go!

A Mecca civilian, road expert, volunteered to take abu Jahal on his way to get The Prophet
Muhammad SAW.

Penduduk : ( cek jejak) this way.

Abu Jahal : Into the mountains? Are you sure?

Penduduk : I'm sure. In a few hours, your hundred camels will be mine

They continued their journey following the trail until they arrived near the tsur cave.

Abu Jahal : Is he there?

Assasin 2 : sstt!

Abu Jahal : I don't see any footprints

Assasin 2 : He is in there

Abu Lahab : There is no way he could have gotten in here without breaking this web or
this nest! You fool!

Later that night, before leaving for Yastrib. The Prophet Muhammad SAW looked down on
Mecca. It was a city filled with memories for him. Where his children were born. Where his wife haf
died. He said, "Of all God's earth, thou art the dearest place unto me nd the nearest unto God. If had
not my people driven me out, i would not leave left there".

In other place, at the door of the city of yastrib, muslims hav gathered and are ready to welcome
the Prophet Muhammad SAW

Muslim 2 : No man can survive this long in the desert.

Muslim 3 : Maybe the reports are wrong. Maybe he was caught after all

Muslim 4 : He wasn't captured. And will be here

Anak kicik : He's coming! The Prophet is coming!

For the first time, Muslims pray without any worries. The days were long and filled with hard
work. But they were really happy.

The Prophet Muhammad SAW taught us that all Muslims are brothers and sisters in one
community. Standing shoulder to shoulder in prayer. And he wrote a document declaring all people
in Yastrib would live as equals, in peace regardless of race or religion

Yastrib was renamed " the city of Prophet, El Madina"
