number and power of a company’s competitive rivals potential new market
entrants’ suppliers’ customers and substitute products influence a company’s
profitability.
Understanding the porters five forces
Porters five force is a business analysis model that helps to explain why
various industries can sustain various levels of profitabity. The model is

THREATS OF NEW ENTRANTS:
In the organization threats of new entrants in the sense of any new dealers
come to the society they may give good discount and offers to the customers.
The new dealers pick up their company growth by offering this offer.so that
this is a major threat of new entrants.
It is an industry is important because with new competitors the intensity of
competitive in industry increases.
Rittal Company can focus on innovation to differentiate its products from that
of new entrants. It can spend on marketing to build strong brand identification.
This will be helpingto keep its customers rather than losing them to new
entrants.
Dept. of MBA, VTU CPGS, Muddenahalli Page 33
INTERNSHIP AT RITTAL INDIA PVT LTD
The capital requirement within the industry is high, therefore making it
difficult for new entrants to set up businesses as high expenditures need to be
incurred. Capital expenditure is also because of high research and development
costs. All these factors make the threat of new entrants a weaker force within
this industry.
RIVALRY AMONG EXISTING CUSTOMERS
In the organization it is always common for the companies which are there in
the market because company to company so many rivalries will be occur in the
sense to lead the market it will be occur. In this organization clarify your brand
and messages focus on the needs of your customers satisfactions. Focus on
your employer’s needs. They do not focus on competitors
BARGAINING POWER OF SUPPLIERS
The bargaining power of suppliers it refers to the pressure that suppliers can
put on companies by raising their prizes, lowering their quality. Or reducing
the availability of their products. In this organization the bargaining power of
suppliers is a simple it is a simple thing which is followed by any of the
vendor or a customer to get good products with low cost and to sell with best
prizes.
The company have multiple suppliers for its different geographic locations.

cost and they want some discount and offers from the organization. Customer
wants their needs and wants.
The quality of the products is important to the buyers, and these buyers make
frequent purchases. This means that the buyers in the industry are fewer prices
sensitive. This makes the bargaining power of buyers a weaker force within
the industry.
Rittal Company focuses on innovation and differentiation to attract more
buyers. Products differentiation to attract to buyers within the industry and
Rittal can attract many customers by focusing on these.
Rittal build a large customer base, the bargaining power of buyers is weak. It
can do through marketing efforts aimed at building brand loyalty.
THREAT OF SUBSTITUTES
The threat of substitute it is high when companies outside the industry offered
more attractive and lower prizes products. Buyer have opportunity to make a
price or performance trade off.
Rittal Company focuses on supplying greater quality in its products. As a
result buyers would choose its products, which supply greater quality at a
lower price as compared to substitute products that supply greater quality but a
