FRDP-80 Heat Shrinkable Wraparound Sleeve for 3 LPE/FBE Coated Pipe

FRDP-80 heat shrinkable wraparound sleeve combined with PE backing, hot melt adhesive and solvent-free epoxy
primer for 3 LPE/FBE coated pipes is mainly used in coating the field weld joints of buried steel pipeline and insulated
pipeline.

The product forms excellent adhesion with the surface of steel pipeline, PE/
FBE-coating; while it forms a continuous and firm anti-corrosive system with
the surface of the pipeline.

Heat shrinkable wraparound sleeves for 3LPE/FBE coated pipes have strong
adaptive capacity to environment and good resistance to mechanical damage,
liquid pressure, bacteria, mildew and other chemical corrosion.

FRDK Fiberglass Reinforced Sleeve for Directional Drilling
FRDK is a high-performance fiberglass reinforced sleeve specifically designed for girth weld corrosion protection on
pipes used in directional drilling applications.
Construction: three-layer system
First layer: liquid epoxy, solvent-free, two-component
Second layer: high shear strength hot-melt adhesive
Third layer: radiation cross-linked, high density polyethylene,
fiber reinforced composite structure.
Additional component: Wear Cone as extra protection against
pull-through forces, of the same construction as the main sleeve.
The FRDK system provides effective protection against abrasion
and wear forces that occur during the pull-through operation.
The system is fully compatible with cathodic protection systems,
resists cathodic disbandment and is designed for a wide range of operating temperatures.
Features:
• Superior cathodic disbondment and hot water immersion resistance.
• Highly resistance to shear and peel forces induced by soil and thermal movement.
• Easy to apply with minimal training
• Superior abrasion resistance
• Excellent adhesion performance
• Preheat requirement for product installation.

FRDX - Repair Patch for Pipe Anticorrosion and Hot Melt Glue Stick

FRDX is a heat-applied patch, which in combination with mastic filler, offers an economically effective and high-
qualified repairing system at site for factory PE pipe coatings damaged mechanically during transportation, storage
and laying of pipes.
Hot melt sticks are essential to industry for assembly and packaging. These hot melt glue sticks allow manufacturers
to manually apply hot melt adhesive from lightweight, low cost applicators using easily handled sticks of glue.

Features:
• Long lasting and high performance
• Specially used in repairing the damaged PE-coating and PP-coating
on steel such as scratch, air bubble and cutting
• Save time with fast and convenient installation, no special
equipment required.
• Adhere closely to the surface of PE-coating and PP-coating on
steel pipeline and form a continuous corrosion prevention system
with the surface of the pipe.
• Anti-impact, wearability, chemical corrosion protection, water
permeability. Easily adapt itself to environment.

FRDX*200*200-1.2/0.8 FRDX*200*200-1.2/0.8

The above data is for standard size in mm. We can produce specific size of products according to customer’s
requirements. The dimensions of PE-coating repair patch can be adjusted according to the customer’s requirements.
Hence the repair patches are to be cut out of a roll. Rolls with thickness up to 3.0mm can be provided.
Advantages of using FRDP-80 for 3lPE/FBE Coating

Sr. No. Description Advantage

Conformance to EN 12068 C HT 80 instead of EN12068 C HT 60 having
1 Technical excellence
high peel strength, Tensile strength
As there are higher margins of performance then required Error on part
of applicator (like surface preparation, mixing of Epoxy Resin, surface
2 Margin for Applicator Error
temperature etc.) may still ensure product meets the required
specification standard
Being Resin & Epoxy in a container with each kit, the mixing ratio shall
be strictly as directed by Manufacturer. Thus, ensuring the peel
3 Avoidance of approximation error
strength and enough quantity for surface film thickness. Neither
wastage nor over usage

In comparison of bulk container, there might be chances of over usage,

spilling, contamination of foreign particles or exposure to atmosphere
4 Additional avoidable cost of mixed Epoxy/Resin lead to procure additional components Thus
Additional cost of spare procurement, delay of project due to non-
availability of spare material with the supplier and loss of man hours

As the PQT is for Each Lot and Batch, mixing of different components
5 Mixing of Batch of Epoxy, Resin, or Sleeve may deviate from Factory result or may
demand for New PQT
