    In this story, Adam and Eve don't really show faith in God because they disobey him and do

    things he told them not to do. Eve did tell the serpent that they were not allowed to eat the fruit
    but in the end, she let the serpent trick her into eating it. By doing that they did not show faith in
    God instead they broke God's trust and disobeyed him by eating the fruit after being told not to.
    Therefore in this story, Adam and Eve did not show faith in God, but if they did they wouldn't
    have let the serpent trick them into eating the fruit. They wouldn't have been turned mortal and
    God would not have gotten upset, many things would have changed if they had just said no.
