Safety Committee Formation

1. A safety committee has been formed according to Rule 218 of the West Bengal Building and Other Construction Workers Rules-2004 for the Sunshine Project in Konnagar, Hooghly, West Bengal. 2. The safety committee includes representatives from the employer such as SPLEPL and MDM, and workers such as SIL. 3. The safety committee will meet monthly to discuss environmental, occupational health and safety issues, the current site situation, safety training, promotional activities, unsafe acts and conditions, and risk assessment and control.

discuss various points regarding environment, occupational health and safety, current site situation &safety
awareness training of the workers, safety promotional activities, unsafe acts and conditions, risk assessment and
control etc. in every month.

 The Chaired person of the safety committee meeting by Mr Abir Sengupta.


 Mr Sudip Kumar Ghosh will act as a Secretory as well as convener of Safety Committee.
 Safety Committee Meeting will be held minimum once in every month.
