Linear Heat Detection:
… is a cable that is sensitive to heat and used to trigger an over temperature alarm

Two technologies for different applications:

Conveyors
Overheating bearings on conveyor support
rollers is a common cause of conveyor belt
fires. Sensor cable can detect these overheat
conditions. Additional protection can be
provided above and below the conveyor belt
against spillage and the transportation of
ignited material

Escalators
Sensor cable provides for the total protection
of escalators with coverage provided at all
potential fire risk areas e.g. drive motors,
return roller bearings, dust collection trays
and truss rollers. Sensor cable can be used
to give an alarm indication or even initiate a
sprinkler system
