US 10 [6.0 mm] dpns;
adjust needle size to achieve gauge

Notes
This hat uses a simple quilted stitch
to make the most of variegated
yarns. Make sure to move the
beginning of round marker as
indicated in the Quilt Stitch
instructions.

Abbreviations Work 10 rnds in Ribbing pattern.
beg – beginning Switch to larger circular needles.
CO – cast on Next Rnd: Knit.
dec(‘d) – decrease(d)
k – knit HAT BODY
ktbl – knit through back loop Work the 12-rnd Quilt Stitch
k2tog – knit two together pattern four times.
k3tog – knit three together
KU – knit under: insert needle TRANSITION

Block lightly.
