Picnicking at the River
1_ On a sunny spring day, the animals in the woods decided to go on a
picnic to have fun after a week of work. “It’s a perfect day for a picnic,” said
the fox delightedly. The animals accepted to go on a picnic and they decided to
go to the river to eat lunch, swim and play.
2_ Soon the animals gathered their food and the basket was full. The fox
brought the meat, the rabbits brought the fruits, the
dogs brought the tomatoes, and the ducks brought
the sweets. After they had gotten all the items, they
grabbed their jackets, and began to walk. When they
got there, they were very hungry, so they wanted to
set up the picnic first. The fox laid down the blanket
and he started to set up the meal, while the rabbits
were setting up the tent.
3_They found the bears had already reached
with the basket and had laid out the picnic. They were eating lunch there. The
bears invited the animals to sit with them. They ate lunch together. They were
both very happy to eat beside the river and enjoy the sounds of the birds.
When they finished with their meal they played a nice football game and swam
in the river, but then it started to rain. So they packed up their things. When
the picnic was over, they went back the way with each other playing and singing
happily because they all now have new friends.
