How to enhance concentration?
Studying seems very difficult if the required concentration is not aroused.
There are several things which stop you from focusing and we often know
them very well. To start off, try to get rid of those thoughts, people or merely
those objects.
Here are a few points which may significantly help you to increase your
concentration.
1. Make a list of distractions present around you and decide how to
eliminate them. Uninstalling specific apps, decluttering the study table
etc. will be helpful.
2. Do one thing at a time. Do not mix too many subjects at the beginning.
Practice switching the mode of study.
Eg. Read > make notes > watch a video related to the topic > solve
questions > read
3. Keep the study area clean and organized.
4. Develop a good study habit. Read to learn, don’t read to read!
5. Set small targets and celebrate the success.
6. Take a short and timed break whenever required.
7. Make your study interesting. Use of sticky notes, coloured pens,
highlighters will be helpful.
8. Reward yourself often to stay motivated.
9. Practice Anulom Vilom Pranayama and Candle meditation every day for
10 mins.
10. Eat nourishing food, sleep for 7 hours and exercise well.
