Valve Seal Components
Valve
1、The rising and non-rising stem structure is safe and reliable and can be applied
under all kinds of environment.
2、The same inner pathway size device can extend the use life of the valve, and it does
not limit the flux so that the turbulent flow can reduced to the minimum.
3、Metal to metal seal is applied between gate and seat.
4、Absolutely close. The surface of the gate and seat, which require a knife-edge to
measure, is polished and smooth to make sure that the gate and seat is totally closed.
5、The seal will be more reliable by the working line pressure which will be put on the
gate to stick to the seat.
6、The metal to metal seal on the back stem can supply the reliable safety guarantee
when the stem packing is leakage and needs to be changed. When the packing and
grease fitting is damaged, it allows the body to bear pressure.
Valve
7、The valve without any rubber seal can be designed to be used under tough environment. Metal to
metal seal is applied between bonnet and body, the seal ring is made of Series 300 stainless steel. The
structure of some seal ring makes it possible to use the ring repeatedly for many times without
change. “Lip” type packing is used to seal stem and bonnet. The packing materials are
777PTFE+Eigloy stretch framework, which can bear the pressure of maximum 20000psi, the low
temperature of -120℃ and high temperature of 288℃. “PEK” materials, which have superior sealing
performance, are used on the seal between seat and body so that the seal can work normally under
the very high temperature and very low temperature.
8、Some gate valve of high pressure apply the gear driving device, which can make the operation torque
lower than 200Nm.
9、The valves are suitable for both onshore and offshore use.
Choke Valve
The choke valve can be divided into “CH-2”
needle style, “JLK” pole plug style and “JLB” orifice
style. “CH-2” style choke valve can be divided into
“CH-2A” adjustable style and “CH-2B” positive style.
“CH-2A” and “JLB” choke valve can be on both
manual and hydraulic operation. The body and part
materials of the choke valve comply with API 6A and
NACE MR 0175. The choke valve is widely used on
the onshore and offshore drilling and production
operation, which means it is also suitable for
Christmas tree, choke and kill manifold.
Choke valve
The choke valve can be produced against H2S and CO2
by the special choke components inlaying the corrosion-
proof materials. These special choke components are
including stem, seat, choke fitting, and the corrosion-proof
materials are including special alloy and tungsten carbide.
Just by changing a few inside components, “CH-2A”
can be changed for “CH-2B” without dismantling it from
the manifold. Similarly, “CH-2B” can also be changed for
“CH-2A”.
The choke valve is suitable for the working conditions
of corrosion medium because of the choke fitting and seat
with corrosion-proof materials. It can reduce or eliminate
the depositing of the solid grain in the air, water and oil. Its
applicable temperature is -59℃~121℃。

uses standard choke bean, whose
opening can be ½”, 1”, 2” or 3”.
The standard choke bean of “CH-
2B” positive choke is 6 inches long.
The increment of its opening is 1/64,
and its standard specification is 8/64,
12/64, 16/64, 24/64, 28/64, 32/64, 36/64,
40/64, 48/64, 56/64, 64/64, 80/64, 96/64,
112/64 and 128/64. The material of the
choke bean is hard alloy.

“YDF” Check Valve
“YDF” Check Valve Technology
“YDF” Check Valve is produced by McEvoy’s technology from the
U.S.A. There are seat, gasket, piston, spring and seal ring in the valve
body to make sure that fluid is running in mono-direction. Other
valves or pipes can be connected on both side of the check valve,
which facilitates the operation on the fields.
“YDF” Check Valve Specification
• “YDF” check valves are generally used on kill manifold. The
scope of the working pressure is from 2000 to 5000Psi, while
the nominal bore size is from 1 13/16″ to 4 1/16″, which can
satisfy all requirements for geologic exploration and oil
production.
• Requirements for connection, material, physical and chemical
data and pressure test conform to API Spec 6A, 19th edition.
• The working medium of check valve is oil, mud or gas.
• “YDF” check valve is a type of valve, which let the fluid
medium go through in working pressure according to the
direction showed by the arrowhead on the body and cutoff the
reverse fluid.

Choke and Kill Manifold
Choke and Kill Manifold
On drilling, choke manifold and kill manifold are on the opposite sides of the
BOP, switching on and off of the gate valves and adjusting the choke valves can
realize choke and flow, and they can also adjust the pressure gap between the
drilling and casing. So they are necessary parts on the balance and
underbalance drilling.
On drilling, when kick or blowout happens, the side way of the choke manifold can be open for
flow, also the flow can be done by opening the valves on the middle way directly. The high-pressure
mud from mud pump is pressed into the casing through kill manifold, so as to prevent the well
from kick and blowout. Choke and kill manifold are the necessary equipments for drilling.

This is the general choke manifold,
which is put on the skid. You can
use the structure which the picture
shows, and can require some other
structures.
Lifting Choke Manifold
The input port of the lifting choke
manifold can be adjusted according to the
height of the drilling spool. The general
range of the height adjust is 1m, and the
increment is 5cm. On adjusting, loose the
lock handle first, and then sling the
manifold, finally lock the handle again to
prevent shaking on working.

the height of the drilling spool. The
general structure is the “T” shape, and it
can also be customized.

focused valves. It connects the

Mud Cycle and Choke Manifold
The Mud Cycle and Choke Manifold are serving on the eastern-sea platform.
Choke Manifold
This Choke manifold is working with the offshore
drilling platform. The working pressure is 70Mpa. The
manifold is erected and a second-layer platform is used.
It features as less space but larger operation height. The
manifold will be fixed from wind by tight rope. Usually it
is located on the same side of the kill manifold and mud
manifold. It connects the pipeline by hammer union,
which is convenient for installation and maintenance.
Choke Manifold
This choke manifold with the working pressure of 70Mpa is used in
Talimu fields of Xinjiang province. The height of the manifold is adjusted by
adding the blocks below the skid.
Choke Manifold for Delivery
This choke manifold with 105Mpa working pressure is designed for Chuandong oil field.
(double wheel and double hydraulic choke valve; meet the working condition of 20% H2S and 10% CO2; performance class is PR2.)
Mud Cycle Manifold
This is a mud cycle manifold, equipped
with several control line regarding the drilling
liquid, killing mud and fixing cement, and with
the port of drilling instruments and casing
pressure gauges. On the right side is the fixing
cement control line, composed of three 70Mpa
x 2-1/16” gate valves. On the left side is the
35Mpa x 4-1/16” standpipe control line. The
middle is the 35Mpa x 2-1/16” cleaning line,
flowing line and killing line. These lines are
connected with the relevant equipment by
hammer union.
Mud Cycle Manifold
This is the mud manifold working with the drilling equipment on the
west-lake offshore platform at the eastern sea of China.

The control box is the control device in hydraulic choke manifold. It
can control the open or close of the hydraulic choke valve at long
distance. On the face board of the control box, the pressure of the
stand pipe, the pressure of the casing and the open degree of valve
position of the hydraulic throttling valve can be displayed. The
pressure transmitters of stand pipe and casing adopt pneumatic
signals to sense, which has the properties of high sensing precision,
good shock resistant performance, easy installation and natural
anti-explosion. It is a controlling device necessary for successfully
controlling well surge and blowout and enforcing pressure control
technique for oil and gas wells.

Control Box of Choke Manifold
The working principle of the hydraulic choke manifold control
box is the balance principle of air and liquid. It gathers together
the pneumatic and hydraulic transmission, converting the pressure
of the outside air source into hydraulic energy to control the open
and close of the hydraulic choke valve so as to steady the pressure
of well bottom to realize the functions of choke and kill.

BPV Running/Retrieving Tool
The BPV running/retrieving tool is used to install or uninstall under
pressure the BVP on the tubing hanger, which is in the tubing head, by
means of the piston movement and rotation caused by hydraulic drive or
wrench operation. The purpose of BPV is to maintain all the valves on the
Christmas tree without killing the well or close the SSSV.

Back Pressure Valve (BPV)
