Cyberbullying is bullying that takes place over digital devices

sharing negative, harmful, false, or mean
content about someone else. It can include
sharing personal or private information about someone else
causing embarrassment or humiliation. Some cyberbullying
crosses the line into unlawful or criminal behavior.

Harassment:
• This is a very dangerous form of cyberbullying

• Cyberstalking can also refer to the practice of adults
using the Internet to contact and attempt to meet with
young people for sexual purposes.
Fake profiles:
[4]

their real identity with the intention of cyberbullying
your child.
• The cyberbully might also use someone else’s email or
mobile phone to cyberbully them.

through the use of insults or bad language on online
forums and social networking sites.
• The troll will personally attack their victims and put them
down.

have a smartphone and is deliberately excluded from
conversations by others because of this.
Effects of cyberbullying:
[5]
Any type of bullying can have physical and psychological
effects. Anxiety, fear, depression, low self-esteem, behavioral
issues, and academic struggles are just of the few challenges
kids may experience if they are targets. Cyberbullying,
however, may be particularly damaging.
Emotional effects:
Cyberbullying is a significant stressor in a young person's life.
In fact, research shows that 32% of kids who are targets of
cyberbullying report experiencing at least one symptom of
stress, in addition to feeling distressed, they also may feel
embarrassed, hurt, and even fear for their safety
Academic issues:
Kids being victimized by cyberbullying may lose interest in
school, they may skip school to avoid facing the kids
cyberbullying them or because they are embarrassed and
humiliated by the messages that were shared online.
Addiction:
People and usually teens are harassed online are more likely
to engage in substance abuse. In fact, one study found that
targets of cyberbullying were 2.5 times more likely to use
marijuana or engage in binge drinking than their peers
Mental issues:
Psychiatrist who treated victims of cyberbullying remarqued
that a majority of them have shown signs of paranoia and
agoraphobia due to the fact that cyberbullying is usually
anonymous.
[6]
Suicidal thoughts and self-harm:
Sometimes targets of cyberbullying respond to their intense
feelings by harming themselves in some way. For instance,
some might engage in self-harm such as cutting or burning
themselves. In fact, research has consistently linked bullying
and self-harm

Harassment:
[12]
Cyberbullying is another form of online harassment, where a
person or group bullies a victim using the Internet or other
methods of electronic communications. If this sounds like
cyberstalking, you’re not wrong in making the comparison.
Both involve many of the same methods to terrorize a victim.
The cyberbully may post abusive comments, send threatening
or demeaning messages, make audio or video records of
someone without their consent, or disclose personal
information with the purpose of humiliating or intimidating
them. As with any bully, they like the power that comes
through humiliating and demeaning another person.

About half of the people who were harassed didn’t know who
was responsible, because the aggressor was either a stranger
or the real identity of the person(s) responsible wasn’t known.
This can happen if the person created a fake account, used an
alias, or took other steps to hide their identity. Perhaps more
frightening is that the other half were known to the victims.
This means that the harasser had some kind of relationship
with and/or felt so comfortable with bullying the person that
they didn’t even try and hide who they were.
Being the target of some kind of abuse can happen anywhere
on the Internet, but the most common places may surprise
you. Of those targeted by harassment, they reported the most
recent incident occurred on the following types of sites:
social media comments section o a website online gaming
personal email discussion site dating site or app
Action plan:
[14]
Usually, bullies don' t realise that their actions may have
serious reprocutions and sometimes victims don’t know how to
deal with the problem so we decieded to launch a compaing to
raise awarness about cyber bullying. we actually partned with
a well-known club to organize lectures of people talking about
their personal experience stories.
[15]
presenting statistics and advising listeners on how to get
through and recover from the repercussions of cyberbullying
also we would like to sit down with officials from our
education systems to discuss educations methods that would
mediate serration and therefore bullying in general amongst
kids.
Conclusion:
People, mainly teenagers, have trouble with cyberbullying and
find it hard to communicate with others about the problem
they are facing. Due to its dangerous reprocutions this
phenomenon needs to be mitigated. People are suffering long
term effects such as depression and anxiety. It is more
common in girls to be cyber-bullied then it is in guys.
To help this problem we made our space Bohflix which is an
Awareness company to promote the bullies to be more positive
towards others and put smile on everyone's face.
