COMPARE AND CONTRAST (3 items x 5 points): List three (3) types of accommodation in the
Accommodation column. Then, present the features that differ them from other types of accommodation in
the Highlights column.

ACCOMMODATION HIGHLIGHTS
1. APARTMENTS  Apartments having a large single main room
that serves as the living room, dining room, and
bedroom all in one and usually includes kitchen
facilities as well as a separate bathroom.
 It can make you feel that you’re truly in the
home and you can really enjoy it.
 Having a well-laid out apartment that flows is
attractive to future buyers and tenants alike.
Space should be well utilized and square-shaped
apartments are often more popular than long
thin corridors.
2. HOTELS  Accommodation and service may range from
low- cost to high-end.
 A hotel is a place where people can pay to stay
for a short period of time.
 It is for a vacation like family bonding, friends
bonding or etc. And it is also can be for
business purposes.
 Hotel room amenities can range from a low-
quality mattress in a small room to large suites
with larger, higher-quality beds, a dresser, a
refrigerator and other kitchen facilities,
upholstered chairs, a flat- screen television, and
en-suite bathrooms.
3. COTTAGES  Cottages can be known for a small house, it is
a temporary place that people can sleep, eat,
and enjoy.
 There are many kinds of cottages, there are
public and private. In public it has a small kitchen
where you can cook and, it has also tables and
chairs but not enough house materials like a
private cottage.
 In Private Cottage, there are rooms where people
can sleep, do hobbies and etc. it has also a
kitchen, bathrooms and etc.
 Cottages may be detached houses, or terraced,
such as those built to house workers in mining
villages.
