Notes:
1. In ormoc, when you are still in Indiana Ramp and a C-150 is still on initial downwind or mid
downwind of any runway, you can enter the active to line up RWY. But if a C-152 or C-172 is
still on initial downwind of any runway, cooperate for traffic separation so you can enter the
active, or wait until they touch down.
2. Comms Format:
Who are you calling?
Who are you?
Where are you?
What are your intentions?
3. Always state the Aerodrome where you departed from when doing Cross Country Flight
4. Anticipate Mactan Tower Instructions for Easy readbacks
5. Always listen to Radio Comms. Be aware of the aircraft using the UNICOM Frequency (121.90)
6. Master Dead Reckoning (Navigation)
7. (Important) Get 6-8 hours of rest before every flight.
8. Always prepare. Review necessary notes and procedures. Learn from mistakes. Learn from
seniors.
9. Do not rely on one source. CROSS-REFERENCE
10. Always ask important questions!
