Check the equipment, verifying the compliance with the project documentation in last revision: P&I D, drawings,

specifications, standards, etc.
2. Check that the tag of the equipment is correct and appropriate.
3. Check that the chassis of the battery set is stable and aligned.
4. Check that the internal and external painting is in satisfactory condition and does not need to be touched-up.
Check that the battery cells are all installed and the electrolyte level is correct. There are no leaks and all cell
5.
containers are intact.
6. Check that the electrolyte characteristics and physical data available
Check that the interconnections between battery elements and blocks are performed minimizing short circuit risks. All
7.
terminals are cleaned, tightened and with protection covers. The Battery blocks have identification tags.
8. Check that the power connections of the battery sets are complete (the ITR of all cables are filled-in and signed).
9. Check that the switch isolator of the battery set functions mechanically correct.
10. Check that there are no damages/deformations.
Check that the cleanliness of battery cells is satisfactory. The room containing the battery cells is clean and free from

dust, debris, foreign matters (condition for battery cell inspection).
12. Check that the ventilation system of the battery room works properly.
Check that the floor and walls of the Battery Room are covered by a suitable layer of acid resistant coating / tiles. The

drain pit is properly done.
Check that the earthing system is connected to earthing network and that the terminal on the equipment is well
14.
tightened.
Check that eventual tags of identification and/or instruction supplied by the manufacturer are properly installed and
15.
complete.
16. All checks recommended by the Vendor have been executed.
17. Check that Eventual defects/abnormalities have been entered in the Project Punch List.
18. Check that the final documentation for QCP has been completed and signed off.
19. Check that all modifications have been highlighted on the “Master Copy” drawings (as built).
