The Torque Workcentre
is an incredibly versatile
machine platform, capa-
ble of performing a large
number of functions, in-
cluding overhead routing,
pattern copying, surfac-
ing, crosscut and ripping
large boards, and drilling.

With 6 degrees of free-

dom, a tool can be placed
where it is needed, at any
angle relative to the work-
piece.
 You can mount a plunge
router, drill and circular
saw to the Torque Work-
centre transforming each
into a powerful addition to
the workshop (or on-site).

Using the overhead rout-

ing pin (supplied) or copy
attachment (optional), ac-
curate duplication of parts
is simple and repeatable,
and greatly aids functions
such as sign writing.

Whether it is a hobbyist’s shed, or a production work-
shop, the Torque Workcentre quickly becomes an indis-
pensable tool. Having a router mounted overhead turns
a 7kg handheld router into a 157kg powerful, versatile
machine. A circular saw becomes a radial arm saw, or a
sliding compound mitre saw with up to a 1300mm cut. A
drill becomes a drill press with phenomenal reach away
from the drill press pillar.

Each tool can be angled, and spun through a huge arc,

restricted to a single axis of travel, or used in a very free-
form manner, with two, or even three axis unrestrained.
In a high-production workshop, a large 4 metre bed with
dual (or triple) carriages for rapid tool changes allowing
multiple machining steps to be executed quickly and ac-
curately.

The scope of roles this machine can perform has to

be seen to be believed. New ways to utilise the Torque
Workcentre are being discovered as it becomes the in-
valuable cornerstone of each workshop.

a unit that is compact, transportable, yet still provides
significant beam travel, then the Torque Router Master is
ideal.

This does not have the travel along the bed of the full
Torque Workcentre, but still allows many of the other
functions to be used, and is ideal for on-site work.
