Welcome to Fast Training Week, so glad
you're here. Each month I lead a week-long,
themed fasting experience.
My intention for creating Fast Training Week
is to bring the Resetter community together
to practice fasting, learn new styles of fasting
and to push our fasting growth edges.
The most important thing I want you to
remember is, there is NO such thing as a
failed fast. Every fasting experience makes
you stronger, healthier and better adapted.
So please hang in there.

                      course, if you're a Reset

     What is
Gut Reset fasting?
It's my catchy name for a 24-hour
fast because research shows that
at 24 hours of fasting, the gut
microbiome gets a big revamp!
The benefits of Gut Reset Fasting
include:
    increased intestinal stem cells
    healing in the intestinal lining
    increased intestinal permeability
    increased gut flora & diversity
    decrease in anxiety and mood
    disorders

Ketobiotic eating:
   50g net carbs
   50g protein
   60% of food coming from good
   fat
Animal-Based eating:
   50g net carbs
   100g protein

bad fats, harmful oils, processed, artificially
flavored, colored and refined foods, like these:
     bread             sports drinks
     rice              soda
     cereal            juice
     pasta             high fructose corn syrup
     pizza dough       artificial sweeteners
     cakes             creamers
     pie crust         vegetable oils: commercially
     snack food        processed canola, sunflower,
     crackers          corn, soy, etc.
     cookies           fried foods
     candy             fast foods
     chips             commercially meats
     pastries          commercially dairy

Measuring
ketones &
blood sugar

  I use a Keto Mojo (USA, Europe) to
  measure ketones and blood sugar
  during fasting.
  Alternatively, if you'd like to dial in your
  blood sugar even more, I recommend
  using a Continuous Glucose Monitor
  (CGM), which tracks in real time your
  glucose levels throughout the day.

Warning
Signs
WHEN YOU SHOULD
STOP FASTING

   If your blood sugar drops below
   50 mg/dL (2.2 mmol/L) and/or your
   ketones rise above 8 mmol/L this is
   a warning sign that you should
   BREAK YOUR FAST, also if you are
   experiencing dizziness, fatigue
   and/or lethargy.
   Important: You should be
   measuring ketones and blood
   sugar 3x per day while doing a
   longer fast. I recommend using
   the Keto Mojo (USA, Europe).
