Deloitte Consulting NLA – Test Anatomy
The Deloitte Consulting NLA Test is designed to evaluate you across multiple skills, with the objective of building a fully rounded
profile of your strengths and weaknesses.
TEST DURATION: 90 Minutes
NUMBER OF QUESTIONS:
• 50 questions in the Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) format
• 2 questions in the Live Programming/Coding format
PROCTORING:
This test is fully proctored using video and audio. During the test, your video and audio would be recorded and analyzed to ensure
the integrity of the test.
TEST SUMMARY:
• The test is divided into four sections.
• For each section, you will get dedicated time duration (within the overall duration of the test).
• If you run out of time before completing any section, you will be moved forward to the next section automatically.
• Once you move to the section ahead, you will not be able to come back to the previous section.
• The four sections will present four different varieties of questions as explained below.
TEST SECTION DETAILS
• General Aptitude:
o This section consists of 20 MCQs.
o This section will evaluate your general cognitive skills, your reasoning skills, and ability to work with data.
o Different questions have different Instructions, so you must read and understand the Instruction clearly for each question.
o A few of the questions will be based on a common premise and will appear in sequence.
o Some questions may involve basic numerical calculations, so it is advised to keep a pen and paper handy.
• Language Skills (English):
o This section consists of 10 MCQs.
o This section will evaluate your ability to understand and use English in the workplace.
o The questions will measure your knowledge of English vocabulary, grammar, sentence construction, sentence arrangement,
and overall language comprehension.
• Technical Skills (MCQ):
o This section consists of 20 MCQs.
o This section will evaluate your Computer science knowledge in the chosen areas.
o The questions will cover the topics of Programming Concepts, Testing Concepts, Cloud Computing, MS Office.
• Technical Skills (Coding):
o This section consists of 2 live programming questions.
o This section will evaluate your logical thinking, problem-solving skill, knowledge of programming language(s), and your ability
to write syntactically correct code.
o You will need to write code using the provided online editor.
o You will be able to select the programming language of your choice from the given dropdown list. This will include all the
commonly used languages like C, C++, C#, Java, Python etc.
o You will be able to evaluate your code by using the "Compile & Execute" option.
o If the code successfully compiles, then you will be able to see how many hidden test cases your code managed to pass/fail.
o The last version of code you submit will be considered as the final version for evaluation.
