II. Rationale and Description

Reduced student and teacher absences, fewer illnesses, improved classroom


performance, longer-lasting equipment, and overall improvements in student mental health
are all benefits of a clean learning environment. In fact, studies have shown that students
perform better in a clean environment, and graduation rates in clean schools are higher
than in unkempt schools. Similarly, poor classroom performance occurs in schools that are
not well maintained or cleaned on a regular basis.
The Clean-up Drive was introduced to students in order to encourage the adoption of
practices such as recycling, which can have a significant impact on waste management in the
community. A clean-up campaign can also foster a sense of community and responsibility to
keep our homes and public spaces safe and clean.
Our organization wants to conduct a clean up drive in the Ocampo National High
School campus on December 10, Saturday, on morning. This activity wants to create a good
environment for the students to attend. To add more, we are also aiming for the recyclable
materials that we can make use of. Our classroom is in the process of gathering waste that
can be sold for our funds.

III. Purpose/Objectives

1. Aims to thoroughly make the school clean, safe and healthy with the participation of the
youth especially the students.
2. To promote waste reduction, recycling and reuse and create public awareness on waste
management and environmental concerns.
3. To gather waste that can be sold for our room fund.
