1.My personal definition of Understanding the Self.
- For me, understanding the self is all about the importance of my true values and
essence as an individual. This subject is seems like the Art of Self-Care I have read
before, it’s all about embracing our true self and how the way we perceive the world.
2.Why is it important for me to learn this subject?
- From my point of view, it’s essential learning and exploring the different perspectives
of understanding the self subject because it gives you benefits to your life like how you
evolve spiritually, mentally, physically, and intellectually. This subject has many kinds of
cores and it could change a person’s life significantly.
3.How will this subject help me as student and as a person?
- This subject helps me appreciate how i look, how i perceive the world, how i embrace
my inner self and how the world sees me as mere being in this world. Knowing and
understanding my true self helps me to develop what’s right and good for me, it helps
me to know broadly about my emotions, ideas and personalities.

- Gives logical analysis
- It improves our abilities to solve dilemmas
- It helps us express our characteristics in own different ways
Sociology to Understanding the Self:
- Help us appreciate and understand our inner self
- Guide us with our decision-making
- It gives us different perspectives of solution to solve social problems
- Helps us state the part of knowing ourselves better.
Anthropology to Understanding the Self:
- It helps people from around the world to build unity
- It gives us the response to our interrogations about ourselves, past, present, and
future.
- Focuses on understanding what it means to be one of the mere beings in the
world.
- It can unlock our speculations about everything; gender, race, foof, economics
and more.
Psychology to Understanding the Self:
- It examines how the way we act
- Help us improve our decision-making
- Help us regulate our stress in everything
- Help us understand our past behavior wether it’s good or bad to perceive our
future self.
- Help us acquire motivation, leadership, communication, money management,
and academic success
- And you will learn about the benefits of studying psychology and how you can
apply it to your life.
WHO AM I? A SELF EXAMINATON
1.How can you describe yourself on your point of view?
- I am a confident and intimidating person. I show benevolence and affection to those
who are really deserving. But in the contrast, I’ll show my dramatically vile side and
obnoxious side to those who treat me in a provocative way.
2.What aspect of yourself do you feel good about? Why?
- My mentality. It’s because it correlates to the different fields of psychology. I like
studying psychology and it’s affirmation and quotes about self-care and mindfulness. It
also improves my intellectual activities such as thinking, reasoning and remembering.
3.What aspect of yourself do you believe you have to improve? Why?
- For me is the way I think. My mind set. Improving my thinking skills is a must because
I can encounter the good sides of being a critical thinker.
