Dress Code
7.1 Employees of the School are expected to present a clean and professional appearance at all times.
Gentlemen are expected to be clean shaven and sport a well-groomed look at all times. Ladies are
expected to come to School either in Salwar Kameez / Sari or Western dress and appear pleasant,
modest and well kept. Employees, who come in constant contact with the community, are expected
to dress in accepted corporate traditions. Proper footwear is to be worn by all.

Specific dress code will be as under:

Occasion Men Women

Sari / Western Dress


Functions and visit of VIP’s Lounge Suit and Formal Shoes
(formals).

Formal dress or national Ethnic dress / Western Dress


National Functions dress. (formals)/National dress.
(Independence Day etc.)

Shirt ,Tie and Formal Shoes Sari / Salwar Kameez /

with collar, khakis, corduroys and covering hip length.

7.2 Description of what constitutes a western dress and a formal western dress for ladies in the schools
dress code is as given below:

7.2.1 Western Dress:


It is a reasonable length skirt (not mini – skirt) or full length trousers of a non – jeans material
combined with a top (such as a dress shirt, polo or sweater set).

7.2.2 Formal Western Dress:


It is a reasonable length skirt (not mini – skirt) or full length trousers of a non – jeans material
combined with a top (such as a dress shirt, polo or sweater set) and jacket.

The under mentioned are not permitted in a school environment:


Transparent blouses (in both Indian and western attire).
Spaghetti tops/blouses, Deep necklines (in both Indian and western attire). Jeans, Capri’s and Flip
Flop sandals

7.3 Teachers and staff are expected to adhere to the dress code at all times.
