Lesson 2: THE CELLULAR VISION

I. WHAT ARE “CELL GROUPS”?

Cell group are small group that meets once a week to study the word of
God and put everyone into worship. Cell group aims personal growth and
improvements through Christ values.

A. Jesus continually ministered in houses. (Matthew 9:10)
B. Jesus performed healing in houses. (Matthew 9:23-24)
C. Jesus used houses to train his twelve disciples. (Marks 9:33-35)
D. The Lord’s supper was held for the first time in a house.
(Matthew 26:17-18)
E. The Holy Spirit was first poured out in a house. (Acts 2:2-4)
F. The church was founded in the homes. (Acts 2:42)

CONCLUSION

The Success of the church is on its cell group. If we value that essentialism
of having a cell group, we will recognize that Jesus succeeds because he
trained the twelve through the cellular vision. The cell groups are small
groups of people who meet weekly to share the word of God and to
worship him. It is there where every person is being pastored, and his
necessities are being met. The cellular vision, along with the scriptural
history of the first church, is God’s strategy to multiply today’s church.
LESSON 1: THE POWER OF A VISION

upon tables, that he may run that reads it.” (Habakkuk
2:2)

I. WHAT IS “VISION”?

It is God’s revelation to a man’s idealism for him to put it into action.

II. CHARACTERISTICS OF A GOD-GIVEN VISION

The following characteristics of God’s vision, will


assist us to comprise in the fulfillment of His
purpose:
A. It is the motivational force of excellent
leaders.
B. It is power that produces life.
C. It can be reproduced by a successful leader

III. DEFINITION AND IDENTIFICATION OF THE VISION

This is a specific vision: “To enthrall your city and the


world for Christ, through the cellular system and the
model of the twelve, making each member of the
church a qualified leader to reproduce God’s work.”.

Process to the core of the vision

It is developed through the application of a specified process:


This vision is well developed by going through a process called the ladder
of success.

The Ladder of Success is composed of four major steps.

WIN
CONSOLIDATE
DISCIPLE
SEND

These steps will guide you in becoming a successful leader. Moreover, the
vision of a successful leader will produce successful reality.

CONCLUSION

The vision is God’s prolific plan that He reveals in


man’s ideology for him to make it happen. It serves as a mechanism
to thrust out the noblest impetus in life. Our vision today is
to win the world for Christ executing strategies such as
cell groups, leadership through the model of twelve,
thus, fulfilling the great commission. We are all called to
be visionaries and make God’s purpose on earth a
reality.
LESSON 3: PREPARATION TO LEAD A CELL GROUP

“Do your best to present yourself approved to God, a
worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly
dividing the word of truth.” (Timothy 2:15)

DEVELOPMENT OF THE SUBJECT


I.THE CONCEPT OF PREPARATION

Preparation is a process of getting ready or being made ready for use of


consideration, by means that preparation is a state where mentally and
psychologically you are ready to do something without any hesitation and
doubts. The willingness to be continually trained with clearly defined
concepts is what guarantees success to a person in everything he
undertakes.

II. AREAS THAT NEED IMPROVEMENT

SPIRITUAL AREA

It is very essential for us to improve our Spiritual self because our Spirit
creates a divine connection to be attached to God’s holiness and our Spirit
is a channel where we can communicate to the Lord, which means, if we
have a weak spiritual idealism, we are prawn to have a weaker
understanding about God’s eternal presence.

INTELLECTUAL AREA

The leader of the cell group must devote his self in education by acquiring
knowledge from books, web pages, internet, importantly, the bible. The
wisdom and right ideology of the leader can be attained through the word of
God.
EMOTIONAL AREA
This is one of the areas in which a person must be much prepared, since
the success of his character and authority to lead others depends on his
steadiness. It is essential for us to be willing for God to establish in us a
healthy self-esteem. It will assist us to get rid of roots of bitterness,
resentment, and emotional conflicts. Having a good emotional quotient
creates a good connection with other people, leading to a wonderful
success.

PHYSICAL AREA

It is an importance for us to be physically fit when leading a cell group. It


will be hard for you to lead a cell group with an unhealthy body. Our body is
the temple of the Lord so we should keep it healthy.

SOCIAL AREA

Being a leader, you need to be a sociable person, but it doesn’t require us


to be introvert, rather, it requires us to be more sociable. Because being a
leader, being communicative is an advantage for you to get to know your
disciples more. That also helps your disciples defines you as a person they
want to open what’s on their heads with.

CONCLUSION
The cell group is an adjuvant of the augmentation of the churches;
However, the success of its enlargement is dependent on the people taking
the lead. Improvements in Spiritual, Intellectual, Emotional, Physical, and
social area succor the leader to lead the cell group successfully. With the
grace of the Lord and continuous devotion, the leader must be able to
improve the five areas that a cell leader must improve.
LESSON 4: STRUCTURE AND DEVELOPMENT OF A CELL

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship,
to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” (Acts 2:42)

DEVELOPMENT OF THE SUBJECT

I. The Cell

Keep in mind that cell group is a group of people that meet once a week to
study the word of God and put themselves into worship. This may be done
in a silent and comfortable areas like, houses, churches, or lounges to
avoid unnecessary interruptions.

II. STRUCTURE FOR EACH CELL MEETING


Time can be structured as follows:
A. Introduction (10 minutes)
B. Praise and worship (10 minutes)
C. Exposition of the topic (30 minutes)
D. Application (5 minutes)
E. Final activities (5 minutes)

III. COMMANDMENTS OF THE CELL GROUPS


A. Love the cellular vision.
B. Do not veer from the cellular vision.
C. Do not allow your cell group to be ineffectual.
D. Meet once a week.
E. The cell group must assist in family restoration.

F. Make of each member a leader.


G. Keep watch over the holiness of the group.
H. Do not work on somebody else’s foundation.
I. Do not allow deploring within the cell group.
J. Work on goals strategically.

CONCLUSION

The cellular vision is a clear representation of success; however, its


success is dependent on how it was built and how often they meet.
Moreover, the values of its constitution must be followed for it will be the
key for a successful governance towards your cellular vision.
Lesson 5: METHODOLOGY OF A CELL GROUP

given to men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

I. EFFECTIVE METHODOLOGY
The methodology of this vision will show the excellent way to attain great
results. The actual procedures contribute to optimize the resources
available.

II. METHODOLOGICAL SUGGESTIONS


A. How to win?
B. How to retain the fruit? - consolidation
C. How to edify?

CONCLUSION

Making known of the methods on how to win, how to retain the fruit, and
how to edify plays a big role in making your cellular network successful.
Upon gaining knowledge, with the right methods you will be able to execute
rightful actions.
Lesson 6: STRATEGIES FOR SUCCESS

I.WHAT IS A STRATEGY?

Strategy is the art of planning to create an action or policy to achieve a


major or overall purpose or aim.

II. HOW TO BE A SUCCESSFUL PERSON


A. Proclaim that being successful is for you.
B. Develop perseverance.
C. Create a space to dream.

III. LOOK FOR GOD’S STRATEGY

A successful person, is a person with a heedful characteristic to listen to


the voice of the Lord because successful people do not act according to
what they know but rather to what the Lord wants them to have. A person
that hearkens to the voice of God creates a hefty correspondence with
God: the creator of wisdom and the wisdom Himself.

We should learn from Joshua

1. Joshua stops to listen to God’s voice (Joshua 6:2).


2. Joshua remembers the promise God made him (Joshua 6:2).
3. Joshua receives the strategy from God (Joshua 6:3-5).
4. Joshua organizes the people according to God’s instructions
(Joshua 6:6-11).
5. Joshua carries out the strategy as God indicated
(Joshua 6:12-16).
” Right strategy requires right heart”

CONCLUSION

Every leader deserves success, but only those people with perseverance
unlocks it. Success should be done by a good strategy because the future
is dependent on how you decide today. Your decision is a primary form of
strategy, thus, never decide according to what you feel rather, decide
according to what is right. Being in a right track leads you to success. Be
prudent with your judgement and always hark to what God is revealing to
you.
LESSON 7: MOTIVATION FOR CELLULAR GROWTH

“I also told them about the gracious hand of my God upon me and what the
king had said to me. They replied, ‘let us start rebuilding.’ So, they began
this good work.” (Nehemiah 2:18)

I. WHAT IS “MOTIVATION”?

Motivation is derived from the word ‘motive ‘, which denotes a person’s


necessity, desires, wants, or urges. It is the process of motivating
individuals to act to achieve a goal.

II. MOTIVATION AND THE CORRECT ATTITUDE OF THE LEADER

A man with the right attitude will be guided to the right direction, because
the leader who is advanced to stand adversity is a person who is capable
of encouraging others to engage in the cellular work. These kinds of
leaders, imbodied the spirit of conquest and is open for possibilities in
learning that being optimistic transmogrify adverse circumstances.

II. MOTIVATION AND THE CORRECT ATTITUDE OF THE LEADER

A leader must be courageous to face adversity, to face negativity and to


face fear. These are the following situations where motivation and the
correct attitude of a leader is evident.
III. NEHEMIAH: A GREAT EXAMPLE AS A MOTIVATOR

Nehemiah illustrates the way in which a leader obtains healthy motivation


and the ability to encourage others to do the work of God.

What he did before the adverse situation is summed up in the following


steps:
A. Detect the abnormal situation and set up a solution.
B. Involve the whole team in the job.
C. Visualize the future blessings as an agent of motivation.
D. Do a vigorous and organized work.
E. Always remember the rhema Word from God.

CONCLUSION
Motivation results to the great multiplication of churches today. Because
motivation creates an open space where one person can encourage and
do his work delightfully.
Lesson 8: HOW TO SOLVE PROBLEMS IN THE CELL GROUP

“If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to
all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he
must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the
sea, blown and tossed by the wind.”

I. PROBLEMS THAT MAY AFFECT THE CELL GROUP

Cell group is an open space where everyone has the capability to speak.
There is various reason for a cell group to have a problem.

II. WEAKNESSES OF CHARACTER


A leader is not built with perfection, we have ups and downs and that
affects our relationship with our cellular networks; However, with full
surrender to God the leaders of the cell group can attain peace while amid
the storm.

The following are the reasons:

A. God molds our character.


B. Intense work on the part of every person is required.
C. There is a relationship between self-control and decisions making.
D. We fight for a goal: perfection.

III. PARAMETERS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS


In Joshua chapter 7 we find the story of Achan’s sin
that brought about God’s wrath against the people of
Israel. Joshua’s behavior in a conflicting situation gives
us the steps that help to resolve problems:
A. Intercession
B. Revelation
C. Obedience
D. Consult the leaders

CONCLUSION

Problems are common in cell group, and this can affect the growth of the
cellular network but with prudence and understanding, the cellular vision
can be matured through the unity of the cellular network together with their
cell leader.
Lesson 9: HOW TO CHOOSE A TEAM OF LEADERS

“And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many
witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach
others.” (2 Timothy 2:2)

I.THE IMPORTANCE OF TEAMWORK
When we work as a team:
• The task is allocated to everyone.
• The work is unrelenting.
• The work is not impeded.
• Motivation perseveres since some revitalized others.
• augmentation is faster.
• The gifts and talents of each person are appreciated.

II. TEAMWORK APPRECIATES EACH PERSON


A. With the twelve, we can be like what Jesus did. Building stories of
people
B. Each person is born to be a leader
C. The secret is in having twelve

III. GUIDELINES TO CHOOSE THE TEAM


We must do what Jesus did:
A. Win them in prayer.
B. Select faithful men.
C. Choose people who long to serve the Lord.
D. Select men that have a teachable heart.
E. Choose people able to be proven.

CONCLUSION

The vision is sure to succeed because the whole team has an opportunity
to work together. This breaks down the limitations of the traditional system
which functions, and responsibilities are centered upon one person. In
choosing a team of leaders, choose a team that helps you with your goal.
Lesson 10: RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE LEADERS AND HIS
DISCIPLES

Unity is the state of being united or joined as a whole. Its is the state where
team is working together and working as one. It is very essential to have
unity because it is the key to have a successful goal.

II. FORMING THE BEST ONES: THE LEADER’S RESPONSIBILITY
A. Teaching the cellular network to grow.
B. Form cautionary leaders.
C. Led them to their success.
D. Teach them the spiritual discipline.
E. Creating an environment to attract others.

CONCLUSION

Having a fervid relationship to your team makes the work easy because the
relationship between leaders and his disciples is leading the team for
success. The successful leader is the one with the ability to reproduce
strong fruit, which is proved in the ones who have believed from his
example, testimony, and teachings.
