CHAPTER-1
Introduction
1.1 About the Internship
To be able to appreciate business discussion in class, students need to gain
experience working in business. Under the supervision of a faculty advisor,
each student must complete a one month training program in tourism, travel
and hospitality organisations.
Every BBA student will need to turn in a project report based on work they
did in a reputable industry. The project work will be managed by two guides
working together.
One of them will be from the workplace and the other from among the
faculty member of the institute. The student in consultation with the
concerned guides will finalize the subject matter of the project work. A
synopsis must be sent to the program-me chairperson within 25 days of the
commencement of the project work failing which the project report will not
be accepted.
Guidance from the institute regarding project work will be available from
internal guides.
1.2 About the organization
Le Tour De World Pvt. Ltd. is leading tour operator company in India. They
are specialist for Family Tour Packages, Honeymoon Tour Package, All
kind of Domestic and International Tour Package, Visa assistance etc. Le
Tour De World Pvt. Ltd. is your one stop shop for all your travel needs.

1.3 About product offered by the organization :-
Tour Package - Organizations create tour packages by combining
numerous travel-related items into a finished good known as a tour
package that is then offered to tourists for a set fee.
Visa Facilitation -For its customer, the company handles
administrative and non-discretionary tasks relating to visa and
passport issuing.
Hotel booking –The company arrange accommodation for their
clients to provide a safe and secure place for a tourist to stay.
Flight booking – The company compare and sort the flight rates with
multiple companies
MICE - . They also provide corporate groups traveling with a
particular motive in mind.
Chapter- 2
THE INTERNSHIP
2.1 About the department :-
Our department was outbound tour operating department .International
tourists are frequently served by outbound tour providers. In order to make it
simple for visitors from one country to conveniently visit another country of
their choice, they construct packages and trips.
And the following work was done by our department :
Making passenger database – Passenger database means personal
data that is defined in the data protection provided by our company.
Making itinerary – Our company also make complete tour itinerary
and arrange a tour according to tourist demand.
Ticket booking – Our company also used to book ticket of the
customers in which the ticket were booked at the relevant prices after
taking all the information from them.
Hotel booking – The hotels of the customers were also booked by our
company, in which we used to book the best hotel according to their
budget.
2.2 Task performed during the internship:-
Visa / passport – I learned to make visa and passport for clients
during my training in which I have to collect their documents and
have to apply for their visa.
Hotel booking – I have also booked hotels like Marriot, Hilton,
Hilton , Radisson Blu , Crowne plaza, Holiday inn , etc. for tourists
through makemytrip website.
Flight booking – I have also booked some of flights tickets for our
customers through company’s website.
Video editing through VN app – I also did video editing of some
places through VN application which is available on every android
and ios devices.
2.3 Task learned during the internship :-
Tour package formulation – I learned to make tour package of
tourist in which I have to do research of destination and market, figure
out timing, customize the tour, deciding the pricing of that tour and so
on.
Hotel booking- I also learned to book hotels for tourists in which I
had to book a better hotel according to the budget of the tourist though
makemytrip site.
Flight booking – I also learned to book flight ticket for tourist during
my internship training in which I had to book the flight after taking all
the information of the tourist like their names , date, time, budget, etc.
Itinerary making- I also learned to make itinerary for the tourist in
which I had to follow four main steps :-
1- Do research
2- Make a list of their must do.
3- Make a draft timetable.
4- And create finished travel
itinerary.
Visa / passport- I also learned how to make tourist visa/passport by
taking their all the documents required from them and apply for their
visa and passport.
2.4 Achievements during the internship:-
1 successful hotel booking - During my internship training, I first
learned how to book hotel and then I successfully booked Hilton hotel
ticket for 1 customer.
1 successful flight booking – As achievements I also booked an Air
India flight ticket for customer.
1 successful visa – I also successfully created an E-Visa for a
customer by following all the steps of visa making.

Observation and
Learning
3.1 Observation and learning about the tourism industry
India is a large market for travel and tourism in the world .
Both domestic and foreign travelers regard India as a desirable
location for spiritual tourism.
The travel market in India is increasing day by day.
Government of India is continuously promoting and boosting the
tourism in India.
Tourism not only benefits to the government but also the local people
that live in that area.
Moreover tourism is one of the fastest-growing industry in the world.
The tourism industry is one of the largest and more profitable industry
in India.
Students have endless career opportunities in this fast growing travel
and tourism industry.
3.2 Overall personal experience of the internship
My overall personal experience was great during entire time period of
my internship.
It was extracurricular and outside learning that was focused on
practical study. As far as I'm concerned, after spending more than four
weeks working there, the company has proven to be able to meet the
requirements for high-quality service.
The agency's industrial practice has given me the confidence I need to
work for a tour operator. This kind of organization internship is
necessary for tourism students to gain knowledge, experience, and
skills in the travel and tourist sector.
I have found it is very beneficial and interesting to work as an internee
in Le Tour de world Pvt. Ltd.
Working with new peoples was very amazing experience for me.
And I have learned so many things from this internship like making
tour package, preparing itinerary, Hotel bookings and etc. And done
work under an unknown guiding faculty and follow his instruction
was great for me.
During my internship I have also explored many tourist places around
Noida and Delhi.
3.3 Observation from the internship:-
I have gain relevant experience working with the Tourism industry
that will help me in future.
In the workplace, I am able to improve my managerial and practical
skills and put them to good use.
I am able to gather information and experience to both enrich and
enhance the learning process.
Working under a director of a company was also first rime thing for
me, Director of our company was very co-operative and helpful in
nature.
I gained exposure in the tourism industry with an expertise in the
travel agency.
Our director was so kind enough that every time would ask what we
would like to learn.
3.4 Learning from the internship
I learned so many things from this 4 week internship program that was
conducted by Le Tour De World Pvt.Ltd.
During entire internship everyday I get to learn different things.
I listed below some of my learning from this internship program –
First and foremost I learned that how to work as an employee
in an organization.
I have learned that how to put my knowledge and skill into
practice .
During my internship I learned how to build relationship and
communication with the people I worked with.
This process help me to develop overall professional network.
I learned that every company or organization has its own
culture .
During my internship I have gain relevant experience working
within the tourism industry.
I also learned team work that how to work as a team.

Conclusion
Conclusion –
I completed my summer internship in Le Tour De World Pvt.Ltd.
Tour operating company. Overall, I had a wonderful experience
during my internship. In addition to meeting many new
individuals, I have learned many new things. I succeed in a number
of my learning objectives.
I gained perspective on professional practise and discovered the
unique aspects of working with a tour operator.
The internship helped me identify my strengths and weaknesses.
This made it easier for me to identify the information and skills I
need to develop going forward.
Director of our company also helped me a lot during the entire
period of my internship . I made a professional bond with all my
team mates.
Finally, this internship has inspired me to pursue a career in the
tourism industry and provided me with fresh perspectives.
