Taj Mahal is a famous mausoleum located in Agra, India on the banks of the Yamuna River. It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan between 1631-1653 as a tomb for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is considered one of the most beautiful buildings in the world, made of white marble and surrounded by gardens and fountains. It has a central dome and four smaller domes with four minarets at each corner. Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world and attracts many tourists.
