About us:
• Biomax has started it’s journey in 2005 and the in-house R&D facilities of the company develop almost all the required
technology for the group and commercialization is done under the auspices of the BIOMAX Group. It commenced commercial
operations during 2010.
• We have among the largest Biodiesel facilities in the world with a refining capacity of 240,000 MTA situated at the
Visakhapatnam Special Economic Zone (VSEZ), Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh in South India with a feasibility to extend the
capacity till 475,000 MTA.
• Biomax is the second largest producer of natural carotenoids globally and has also developed a highly innovative technology for
the manufacture of Biodiesel from Marine Algae.
• BIOMAX is positioned as a socially responsible entity in that it has a Zero Discharge in terms of Effluents and is also a member of
RSPO which stands for Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil.

Mr. M. Ravinder (Chairman & Managing Director)
Mr. Ravinder, an LLB after graduation in commerce has been in business for more than 30 years with several chapters of success in diverse range of
fields and domains. He played a crucial role in the creation of Matrix Laboratories Limited. He held various positions as Executive Director–
Operations, Executive Director–Corporate Finance, Executive Vice President–General Finance etc. and was responsible for the administration of this
organization. Prior to Matrix, he was the Chairman of Vivimed Labs Limited. Mr. Ravinder brings to the company his invaluable business acumen and
the most critical experience of success. He is the key personal in managing every day business activities of the company.
Mr. M. Kalyan Chakravarthy (Director)
Mr. Kalyan holds a Bachelors degree in Operations Management & Information Systems from Northern Illinois University, Illinois, USA and a Masters
Degree with honors in Marketing from DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois, USA. He is one of the promoters of the BioMax Life Sciences Limited and
his responsibility at this concern included analysis of key corporate operations and management issues, including business, financial, and market
analysis; formulating and applying modeling and optimizing methods to develop and interpret operations and management activities.
