Activity 1 (My Invention)

Melody Dingal proposes inventing flying cars to reduce traffic congestion. Their invention would function similarly to airplanes but carry fewer passengers. Flying cars could transport people between cities and countries faster than driving or taking flights. This would save time and provide an alternative to booking airplane tickets. The development of science and technology has profoundly shaped human history by allowing ideas to spread more quickly and demonstrating human intelligence and problem-solving abilities over time based on past innovations. Some enduring past inventions still used today include cellphones, machines, and cameras.

thinking about an invention, make sure that you come up with one that has not been invented vet
but is possible to be invented in the near future. On the space below, sketch a draft of your
invention then answer the questions that follow. Make sure to put some color and life in it.
1. If you are to invent, what would be your invention? Why?
If I will be an inventor I would invent Flying Cars, One biggest problem here In the
Philippines is the traffic with flying cars it can possibly reduce traffic and it may be the
fastest way of travelling.

2. How is your invention, similar to or different form existing tools or technologies in terms
of function?
My invention is similar to an airplane because it can fly in the air but not similar to a
capacity of an airplane because my invention can only occupy for few passengers.

3. Why is there a need for this invention? How will this invention make the world a better
place to live in?
We need my invention in our future because there will be a lot of cars in the city or
anywhere. So we need my invention to just fly in the air and prevent ourselves from
traffic, it can save a lot of time and also when you want to go to other places or country
you don’t hassle yourself by booking tickets for an airplane because you already have a
flying car.
