Collocations with “have” “Do” and “make”
Las collocations se refieren a dos palabras que se combinan y suelen usarse con frecuencia en el habla cotidiano. Las
más comunes son las que se componen de un verbo y un nombre y tienen variaciones locales. Por ejemplo, mientras en
el Reino Unido es habitual decir to have a coffee, en Estados Unidos es mas frecuente decir to take a coffee.
HAVE
have a bath, a shower darse una ducha, una ducha

Adverbs of indefinite Frequency
Los adverbios de frecuencia suelen ir estrechamente relacionados con el presente simple. Expresan la frecuencia con
que ocurre una acción, la posición habitual en una frase esta entre el sujeto y el verbo, aunque cuando se hace uso del
verbo TO BE van después del verbo. La siguiente tabla indica la frecuencia de mayor a menor.

Nouns
En Inglés, los sustantivos no tienen terminación masculinas o femeninas. Tanto los artículos (a, the) como los adjetivos
(black, busy) son invariables. Algunos sustantivos tienen una variante femenina acabada en –ess, o una palabra distinta
para cada genero. Ejemplo:

El plural de los sustantivos se forma añadiendo –S al final de las palabras ( friend- friends- amigo/amigos) cuando el
sustantivo en singular termina en ch,sh,s,x,o,z el plural se forma añadiendo –es. (beach-beaches: playa/ playas)Cuando
acaba en –y esa y se covierte en –i y se añade –es (library- libraries: biblioteca/ bibliotecas) aunque este tipo de
sustantivos no aplican cuando el singular termina en ay-ey.oy. (key- keys: llave/ llaves)
Existen plurales irregulares los cuales no se rigen por las reglas anteriores sino que poseen su propio plural como los
siguientes:
