Clinching tools
Sheet metal assemblage by
cold plastic deformation
Jurado company is specialized in manufacturing portable or static
machines that are used for the union of sheet metal through cold
plastic deformation - clinching-. Jurado is an individual firm founded
in 1999 with technical staff that has over 20 years of experience in
this sector. The company holds 3 international licences with a fourth
one in realization.
All our products gives you plenty of possibilities to use and the
application sectors are several: electrical appliances, metallic
mobiles, air-conditioning units, automotive industry, counters for
refrigeration, industrial ovens and thanks to its flexibility in any case
there is need for the union of metal plates. Furthermore our
machines are light, economical, extremely efficient and represent the
latest technology .Our dynamic technical team creates without
stopping new machines, technical improvements and particular
equipments on customer’s request.
“Clinching”
The clinching process is a method used to join sheet metal
without additional parts through cold plastic deformation.
The clinching tools uses a punch and die. The punch forces
the two or more layers of sheet metal into a die cavity,
forming a connection. Clinching process needs neither
electricity nor special cooling systems normally used for
spot welding. In addition another advantage of clinching is
its ability to join prepainted sheet metal without damaging
painted surface. In this times where ecology is always more
important and European rules on the subject of safety
become every time more restrictive, our technology meets
very well these conditions because it produces neither
sparks nor fumes.

ROUND POINT TRAPEZOIDAL POINT
Some benefits
• Rapidity of the process
• Suppression of corrosion caused by spot welding
• Economical: short duration of amortization
• Better profitability thanks to the nonexistence of
production discards
• No need of external parts (e.g. rivets, screws or
other materials)
• Simpler assembly line thanks to the reduction of
the number of the operations (suppression of
stamping, piercing, riveting)
• Easy integration of the machines in the process
• Portable / lightweight machines
• No sparks or fumes
Some benefits #2
• Easy and simple assembly of all the kinds of metal
plates
• Ability to join prepainted or enamelled sheets
• Ability to join sheets of different materials
• Ability to join stainless steel
• Low cost and high efficiency
• Superior fatigue strength
• Excellent quality of the final product
• Aesthetics of the final product
Mangusta
For the assembly of sheet metal, this is a very
versatile machine and is used in particular for
larger structures or panels with slim sheets. It has
a built-in air multiplier and needs an air supply
like any other pnuematic tool at 6-7 bar to obtain
a push of 18 kN.
Mangusta
The duration of the cycle is less than 1 sec.
It works with both types of clinching
points: round and trapezoidal.

Thickness of mild steel 2 x 0,8 mm
Thickness of stainless steel 2 x 0,6 mm
Air pressure max. 7 bar

Python LA
The Python LA is a compact and light machine,
whose clamp has a wide opening angle: this is
why Python LA is highly recommended in the
field of air canalisation. It needs a pressure
multiplier: Booster. It works with both types of
clinching points: round and trapezoidal.

Weight of the clamp 3,5 kg
Thickness of mild steel 2 x 1,5 mm
Thickness of stainless steel 2 x 1,2 mm
Air pressure max 7 bar
Cycle time 0,8 sec

Condor #1
The Condor is a stitch-folding
machine that operates on the metal
sheet by cutting it at three sides and
creating this way a band that is
being bent underneath the plate.
Condor #2
Is used for the union of very thin sheet
metal in the field of refrigeration
industry, in wide range of domestic
appliances and thanks to its versatility
in every case there’s a need for the
union of very thin metal plates.

Python
The Python is an easy to use machine that can
be assembled with different settings. It needs a
pressure multiplier: Booster.
Thanks to its different settings and features, the
Python is widely used for the manufacturing of
domestic appliances and other industries in this
sector. It works with both a round and a
trapezoidal point with a push of 35 kN.

Pirana
The Pirana is a surprisingly light machine and
therefore very easy to use. It’s powered by a
pressure multiplier, which is called Booster
and can be hung seperately.
The Pirana is used particularly in the
manufacturing of metallic household
appliances. It uses both trapezoidal and round
point with a push of 25 kN.

CB 500
A static machine which is movable as it is
mounted on wheels, featuring two pedals that
control the opening of the clamp and the
clinching process. It works by using an air supply
that needs a pressure mutliplier: Booster. The
mouth of the clamp can be opened to a very wide
angle, which therefore allows the CB500 to be
used with larger components. It works with
round and trapezoidal points with a push of 45
kN.
Technical description
Thickness of mild steel 2 x 2 mm
Thickness of stainless steel 2 x 1,5 mm
Air pressure max 7 bar

Booster #1
Our pressure multiplier is made up of a hydro-cylinder which by
using compressed air (installed in each unit) increases the pressure
of the oil in the same site by a factor of 60 (e.g. for 1 bar of
pressurized air you can achieve 60 bars of oil, so for a standard
pressure of just 6 bar you can obtain 360 bar of compressed oil).
The system is designed for an optimum power supply for the clamps
and therefore for the joining of metal plates. The amount of force
and power used in the clamps can be adjusted on the booster. How
this is done is described in the operating manual which is supplied
with every machine purchased.
Booster #2
Our multiplier can be customized for each
customer according to their needs, in regard to
both the power and the volume of oil that is
compressed.
Our multipliers replace the old hydraulic power
packs which has important economical and
enviromental advantages. Not only are they safer
and easier to use, but much lighter and less of an
obstruction.
