10 benefits of traditional

games:

1. It gives us opportunities to learn new things - Participating in outdoor


activities may be a wonderful way to increase learning abilities. We may
acquire important life lessons and skills, develop a problem-solving attitude,
get the opportunity to explore nature, discover new information, and gain a
basic grasp of science. Furthermore, when we study outside, we see it as a
continuous and fun activity rather than a monotonous duty that we must
complete in the classroom.
2. It can help in our physical development - Playing outside keeps us active and
might improve our physical stamina and fitness. Playing outdoor activities
may also help to strengthen our muscles and bones, boost our immune, and
reduce our risk of various ailments such as diabetes, heart disease, and
obesity. Being outside in the fresh air and sunshine may naturally give us with
Vitamin D, however being exposed to electronic gadgets for extended
periods of time might damage our vision. However, outdoor play can help us
enhance our vision.
3. It can boost our creativity - Participating in outdoor sports can help us
become more creative and imaginative. Being out in nature, surrounded by
plants and trees, and other items, may boost our imagination and creativity.
4. It can help us acquire social skills - People who spend time outside and play
games with each other tend to engage more successfully with others than
those who stay indoors and become alienated and introverted. If one of your
friends or family members spends more time indoors and lives in his own
shell, you should encourage him to get out and play with other people.
5. It can help us develop a positive attitude - People who play outside have a
more positive outlook on life and are calmer and happier. Furthermore,
outdoor play allows us to channel our energies in a meaningful way.
6. It helps in personality development - Outdoor play helps people develop their
personalities. We learn to be self-sufficient and independent. We learn how to
cope with emergency circumstances, setbacks, and so on, which instills
confidence in us and prepares us to deal with life events later on. Outdoor
play also aids in the development of skills like as discipline, sportsmanship,
and leadership, all of which are beneficial later in life.
7. It helps improve the attention span of children/adults - Outdoor sports can
also help youngsters and adults increase their attention span. Children's or
adolescents' focus, observational, and reasoning skills will increase by
playing outdoor activities. Outdoor play can also help children with ADHD
(attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) increase their attention spans.
8. It strengthens our motor skills - Outdoor sports can help children improve
their gross and fine motor abilities. Playing outdoor activities helps them
improve their agility, coordination, and balance.
9. It improves our love for nature - We may be more likely to form a
lasting affinity with nature if we spend a significant amount of time
outside.
10.It makes us lead a healthier lifestyle - We who participate in outdoor games
effectively are more likely to enjoy a well-balanced and healthy lifestyle later
in life. We are capable of making sound decisions. We learn to challenge
ourselves and push our limits in order to improve our risk assessment skills.
