Move 1
Step 2: reviewing items of previous research
The study of Depaynos et al. (2021) emphasises the amount of academic stress reported by
senior high school pupils on the academic route in their study. By highlighting the degree of
academic stress, it is possible to determine which academic strand is facing the highest level
of academic stress, and parents will be notified if their kid is experiencing a high level of
academic stress in comparison to his/her relevant strand. In this scenario, they can practise
how to deal with tension in their children. Furthermore, school administrators would be
aware that learners in a certain strand are suffering a high degree of academic stress. In that
situation, school management might make certain changes to provide learners with a more
suitable learning atmosphere. Finally, it would assist incoming senior high school students in
making an informed decision about which strand to pursue, and this study would also benefit
them in that they could utilise it as a foundation for future research under this project.
