MID LAYER
CROSS FUNCTIONAL PURPOSE
ATOM GEN2

New air permeable materials sharpen the cross-

functional intent of the Atom Gen2 program. Purpose
built as a lightweight insulation layer that stands alone and
works within a wet weather layering system, the introduction
of a new lining and continuous filament insulation creates
a highly breathable package, for improved moisture
management and temperature regulation.

Updates to the design enhance its standalone performance.

A chest pocket secures mission essential items and provides
ready access. Atom Hoody features a trimmed hood to
increase field of vision; insulation extends the range of
comfort in cool conditions. Communication ports in both
hand pockets allow for the routing of communications cables.

A new addition to the program is the Atom Vest. Versatile

in a layering system, the vest can be worn in any situation
where light warmth is required, with the ability to be mission
ready and adaptable to changing environments.

ripstop liner permits airflow, which aids in the transport
of moisture and heat away from the body. Combined

Insulation (w/DWR), breathability is greatly enhanced.
Overall, the new materials package increases breathability,
improving performance over a wide range of conditions.
DURABLE VENTILATION
Side panels provide warmth with stretch comfort for unrestricted
movement. Pontetorto 7.5oz hardface fleece allows airflow to remove
excess heat and has significant abrasion resistance. In a layering
system, under PPE, or when used as an outer layer, Atom Gen2
provides durable lightweight warmth.

SECURE STORAGE
