 Modifiers
A modifier is a word, phrase or clause that
describes,qualifies,clarifies or
changes a particular word in the sentence.

The modifier should be placed next to the word it

describes.

Example:

Luis is the tall guy in blue jeans.

The present participle is a form of a verb ending
in –ing, and it´s placed after the modifier (noun).

Example:
