SYMPTOM No power or no sound.

CAUSE When ACC(+B) touches chassis, GND patten is broken and in some cases power IC is damaged.

Replace the tuner amp unit. (Part no. is not changed)


SERVICE
If the jumper lead is not added to the tuner amp unit, add it. (refer to page 3)
REMEDY

COUNTER Jumper lead is added to the GND line.

<Service remedy>
When the GND pattern is broken, replace the tuner amp unit with a new one.

Strengthening of the GND line


When jumper lead is not added to thetuner amp unit of the service part,
add jumper lead(0.45-0.58mm) between hook and GND2.

The GND line is strengthened

If Power IC is broken in repair , be sure to check the above GND line .
If it is broken , replace the tuner amp unit with a new one .
