DAY 1 DATE:

LESSON PLAN

I. Objectives

At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:

A. Understand the rules and requirements of the subject area.


B. Express their expectations for the subject area.
C. Know the goals and aims of the subject area.
D. Familiarize themselves to the student teachers.

II. Subject Matter

III. Materials
a.) Manila Paper
b.) Permanent Marker
c.) Chalk
d.) Bond Papers
e.) Mini Box

IV. Procedure/Activities
a.) Getting to know each other
The student teachers will start with a prayer and proceed with the introduction of
students. After this activity, the student teachers will then introduce themselves in
order to familiarize themselves with the students. The student teachers will also
explain their objectives for the given activity.

b.) Ice breaker: Talent Box


After the introduction of everyone inside the class, the student teachers will
proceed with the talent box activity. Five students will be called to get a paper
containing a talent inside box. This activity aims to make the class lively and fun.

c.) Subject learning area orientation


The student teachers will proceed in explaining the subject learning area which
will include the rules and requirements of the said class.

d.) Activity: Subject Difficulties


Students of the class will write down the subject in which they have the most
difficulties. This activity aims to know the subject matter which the student teachers
needs to aid the students in order to understand the lessons of these subjects
further.

e.) Closing Remarks


The student teachers will then proceed to call one student to go in front and lead
the closing prayer. The prayer will initiate the end of the class orientation.

V. Assessment
The subject orientation will not include any formative or summative assessment
since it only aims to accomplish the following agenda:
a.) Familiarize with the students.
b.) Explain the rules and regulations of the class.
c.) Allow students to participate actively in the class.
