Zendaya is an American actress and singer born in 1996 in Oakland, California. She began her career as a child model and backup dancer before landing her breakout role in the Disney Channel series Shake It Up in 2010. Since then, she has appeared in several television series and films such as Spider-Man: Homecoming and The Greatest Showman. In addition to acting, Zendaya also pursues singing, dancing, writing books, and serving as an ambassador for charity. She has become a role model for many young girls around the world.

Biography

Actress: Zendaya

Zendaya is an American actress and singer, born in Oakland,


California on September 1, 1996.
She has two brothers and three sisters and her name means “to
thank” in shona. She studied at the Cal Shakes Conservatory Program
and at the American Conservatory Theate.
She began her career appearing as a child model working for several
companies and as young she was a backup dancer before getting the
role as Rocky Blue on the Disney Channel series Shake It Up in
2010.
Since then she has participated in several series and movies like in
the role of K.C. Cooper on Disney Channel. On spider-man
homecoming, in the musical drama The Greatest Showman and much
more, and has won more then fifteen awards during her career.
Besides acting, singing and dancing she is an ambassador for Convoy
of Hope.
She has written a book, launched her own clothing line and proved to
be a great role model for young girls all around the world.
