The document discusses different categories of manifestos and provides an example of one. It begins by defining a manifesto as a publicly declared document that advances ideas or a plan of action, most often concerning art, literature, or politics. It then lists 3 major categories of manifestos: 1) goals, 2) lists and rules, and 3) envisioning a new world. The document analyzes a COVID-19 pandemic manifesto as an example of the "goal" category. It supports the goal of highlighting positive effects of the pandemic by providing reasons like increased solidarity, cleaner environment, and more flexible work/family time. The analysis shows how to identify an argument and support within a manifesto.

Manifesto is a document publicly declaring the position or program of its issuer. It advances
a set of ideas, opinions, or views but it can also lay out a plan of action. While it can address any topic, it
most often concerns art, literature, or politics. Manifesto are generally written in the name of a group
sharing a common perspective, ideology, or purpose rather than in the name of a single individual.

How are these changes carried out with just the use of written words? - It is when the author
provides reasons accompanied with evidences to prove the belief, they wanted the reader to believe in or
