LUMO SCANNER SOP
LumoScan provides rapid imaging of the entire body for forensic pathologists and dermatologists
using visible, violet and long wave-length UV light.
User Orientation and Set up
I. Operator APPs
1. LumoScanFast (dark): Easy and one-time scan.
2. LumoScan (bright): Functions to control cameras, depth sensors, and motors.
II. Quick Start
* Please make sure all the cameras are under “Pro Mode” in the Camera APP and “Screen
Off”.
1. Step1: Click Bright LumoScanFast -> Function -> Control Cameras -> Camera
Status: “Pro Mode” and Check “Smartphone Power Button” on and off to
make sure the phone screen showing “JPG-L” (pro mode). Exit the Bright
LumoScanFast app.
2. Step 2: Click Dark LumoScanFast -> Type in “Patient ID” and “Patient Name
(same with study ID)”

3. Step3: Check one of the three different lightings each time: ”White”
“White”, “Violet”, “UV”
4. Step4: Scan
5. Step5: After the automatic download is finished (shown in terminal), press
Reset Cycle.
6. Step6: Repeat step 2-5 and choose a different light setting – “Violet”.
7. Step7: Repeat step 2-5 and choose a different light setting – “UV”.
8. No need to turn off the computer or the system.
