This table clearly presents the top 10 countries who got the most medals in 2004 Olympic Games.

As can be seen, United States won the most gold medals (36), the most silver medals (40) and the most
medals overall (101). China got the second place in the rank, that achieved 63 total of medals. However,
Russia gain the 3rd place and also won the most bronze medals(38). Followed by Australia (4th), Japan
(5th) and Germany (6th). On the other hand, France (7th) and Italy (8th) has only 1 medal differ from
their total figure. Moreover, 2 countries had the same total figure which is 30, but they differ in their
silver and bronze medal, which result to put them in 9th and 10th place.

In conclusion, of all the countries who attended in such event, this countries in the table got the top 10.
As per tradition, the ranking order is based first on the number of gold medals, then silverand bronze.
Congratulations to all the winners and for everyone who participated, you did a good job. Everyone is
proud of all the efforts that you put in the said affair.
