ABOUT THE A:.A:. AND ITS ADEPTS People try to get too much out of the A.'.A.'.

because they fail to realize that the A.'.A.'. has no intention of giving anything to anyone, nor supporting anyone in any way, simply dismantling their mind so that they can see clearly that their unrealistic goals and desires were preventing joy. Not that it matters. When you see shortfalls they are projected, all problems come from oneself, and uncontrolled reactions to external things. It's like how contrast is needed to know something, pain for pleasure, work for rest etc. Look and see what kind of adepts are being produced: the end result should be a person entirely desireless (having got all), well off, influential, and above all, endlessly compassionate. "Compassion is the vice of kings." -only a king can be compassionate. A good test is to slap the supposed adept in the face or something else obnoxious and see if they react with anything other than a smile. If you were in the O.T.O prior to the A.'.A.'., recall what was said in the council of the princes of Jerusalem: "All is a lie, although divine." This is partly explained in the death period of the Master Magician in the O.T.O. Every spirit is already perfect, no development of it is possible, growth only happens to the ego, consisting of the body and mind, both which blot out the spirit through their use. Crowley writes about it in Liber 333, "Man only rarely, excepting in the case of the adept, only arises to a glimmer of the universal consciousness during the orgasm, when the mind is blotted out." Morals are nothing more than more restrictions, which while appearing to be good are, usually extended to control a person's ability to act freely and thus protect those who fear total freedom. Conscience must be replaced with compassion. The one and only thing which separates man and animals is the ability to refrain from violence. Even a dog knows not to shit on its master's floor. But maybe it should, if the master is encroaching on the dog's freedom? Secrecy has only two purposes; either to have an advantage over someone who doesn't know it (to boost one's ego), or to prevent people from injuring themselves. The things you know of, but not the contents of, are of the former. And some things just cannot be communicated, so they are instead described with words which are only reflections, not the thing itself; thus religion. The first order of the A.'.A.'., the G.'.D.'. is designed to gain control over the base desires and lower mental processes (such as resisting natural impulses, which is a sign of extreme egoism), the R.R. et A.C. teaches sex magick, and the S.S.'s formula is crossing the abyss. ABOUT THE HGA AND KUNDALINI The HGA is yourself over the abyss, beyond time and space guiding you to itself to unify everything, even the past and the future. It can take any form from thoughts, an apparition, a person, kundalini awakening (the result of the abramelin op), or even one of the Secret Chiefs. The HGA is always the most unpleasant form and/or person for your ego that could ever appear. Until you are truly ready to drop everything and surrender to the HGA, it doesn't appear. The HGA is an aspect of your consciousness itself, when you "activate" it, it begins to dissolve everything except your consciousness, leaving you a blank slate without the mind to interfere with it any longer. Keep in mind that hhe higher self is as false as the common self; it is a medicine you use to cure yourself of the curse of having a self. Once it does, it begins the battle with Choronzon (the ego) until it is vanquished, whether you want to or not once you learn where it is leading. The kundalini is a physical phenomena in which the nervous system is shocked so badly it re-wires itself, and the brain as well. The senses are not used to interact with reality... they are there to keep it out. After the re-wiring the other 98% or so of what was being kept out is then able to get through without being filtered. The HGA is the fully awakened Kundalini force in man. My conclusion is based on the practice of Liber Samekh. In the classic texts on Kundalini its written that the Kundalini force is like a Serpent sleeping at the root Chakra, the Serpent is coiled 3 1/2 times in a deosil spiral. The instructions for the circumnambulations in Samech bring the

magician 3 1/2 times in a widdershins circle back to the center of the circle. In the notes to Samech, AC says this rite should be performed astrally (in the Magical consciousness). So the idea is to fix yourself in the center of the Universe, you invoke and equilibrate the five elements and then within a "channel of spiritual energy connecting you to the Macrocosm" you release the "coiled splendour" within you. When that is done correctly the brain changes, creativity is exponentially enhanced, sidhis (powers) are aquired, you become fully realized. There are many hints to this in Crowleys writings (Liber AL, Energized Enthusiasm and in the Gnostic Mass itself). So for convenience you can say the Daemon is the Awakened and Equilibrated Kundalini. The HGA is the kundalini. The abramelin operation is masturbation without ejaculation for three months, then finally allowing ejaculation while concentrating on the Holy Phallus. It causes a total kundalini awakening, which then leads to all the crap in your chakras being cleaned out, resulting in the dissolving of every last scrap of ego. Read Liber VIII, it is a sexual ritual thinly veiled in symbolism. Liber 36: "Let the Adept be armed with his Magick Rood [and provided with his mystic rose]. In the centre, let him give the L.V.X. signs; or if he know them, if he will and dare do them, and can keep silent about them, the signs of N.O.X. being the signs of Puer, Vir, Puella, Mulier. Omit the sign. I.R. Then let him advance to the East and make the Holy Hexagram, saying: Pater et Mater unus deus Ararita. Let him go round to the South, make the Holy Hexagram and say: Mater et Filius unus deus Ararita. Let him go round to the North, make the Holy Hexagram and then say: Filia et Pater unus deus Ararita. Let him then return to the Centre, and so to The Centre of All (making the Rosy Cross as he may know how) saying Ararita Ararita Ararita (In this the Signs shall be those of Set Triumphant and of Baphomet. Also shall Set appear in the Circle. Let him drink of the Sacrament and let him communicate the same.) Then let him say: Omnia in Duos: Duo in Unum: Unus in Nihil: Haec nec Quatuor nec Omnia nec Duo nec Unus nec Nihil Sunt. Gloria Patri et Matri et Filio et Filiae et Spiritui Sancto externo et Spiritui Sancto interno ut erat est erit in saecula Saeculorum sex in uno per nomen Septem in uno Ararita. Let him then repeat the signs of L.V.X. but not the signs of N.O.X.: for it is not he that shall arise in the Sign of Isis Rejoicing." In english: Rood = phallus, rose = kteis, LVX = light in extension (vaginal intercourse), NOX = Light in retention (anal intercourse, illegal at the time this was written "One must first protect themselves against the law, and remain silent of it ever afterwards"), rosy cross = ejaculation, Set = phallus, circle = kteis, ararita = chanting to keep the mind focused on the object desired, drink the sacrament = elixer (he licks her and shares it with her in a kiss, then places the remnants on a talisman created beforehand, wand, cup, knife and coin, YHVH, projection, reception, unification, materialization) Isis rejoicing = pregnancy. --The witch riding the broom, the obscene kiss of the goat, the drinking of the sacrament, Christ was crucified between two thieves = OTO, and shed blood and water saying this is my body and blood, eat and drink that thou mayest have eternal life. The snake eating its tail, the eye in the triangle, the point within a circle, the sun and the moon, hiram abiff's burial sending forth the white acacia branch, being raised with the strong grip of the lion... all emblems. ABOUT CROSSING THE ABYSS The abyss is only painful if you try and hold onto the crap you picked up from others -ego is never one's own but more society's implant to keep you in line- else it is quite peaceful as everything falls away and you come back to yourself freed of ideas and problems. Crossing the Abyss is the breakdown of the psychological universe the person was living in, in the opening of the path your mind is mapped; then let go of so that it creates its own problem. Transcending the reason is one of the goal of crossing the abyss, which as I said before, is the breakdown of reality. The initiate is sent around in circles with this problem until he or she realizes they created it for themselves, the first lesson, learned through the ordeal of the nephesh (prior as well as post, due to a karmic mate in the form of the A.'.A.'. demon) is "Adherence to anything outside of oneself is duality; or at least, the potential for duality. This in and of itself is a recipe for turmoil within the soul." This is partly explained in the death period of the Master Magician in the O.T.O.

The abyss entails a loss of all you learned, all you thought you were, your HGA which you lose because you become it, you forever lose your goals, plans, desires etc. All mental formulations of dualities are permanently lost, such as higher, lower, right and wrong, good and bad, light and dark etc. You could call it the death of the conscience, and the ego you formed to try and fend it off. You have to lose yourself to find yourself, and the path is but getting lost, then you find yourself back home when you realize it was leading nowhere, once again, from direct experience, not thinking so. You lose the ability to care about going anywhere, "I am perfectly happy with who and where I am, regardless of my or the world's flaws." ABOUT THE MAGISTER TEMPLI Where the body is the eagles gather, where the ego is the karmas gather. Take out your ego, you also take out your karma, on condition you don't start creating new ones... Claiming to be a master of the temple, is literally, claiming to have rid yourself of insanity and re-entered reality, with a mind now solid enough to handle anything thrown at it, (except the formula of the 9=2, the inner meaning of Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici, though without someone of that grade to open it, it is quite harmless in turning your mind into soup.) and to be able to pull anyone out of their self-created pit. The master of the temple sees I as a thought, the magus burns up even the dried mind which was holding this thought, and then finds that the mind happened to him, not him to the mind. Everyone is already at the goal until their ego begins to form around age 1 or 2. The idea is to rid yourself of everything you picked up, to get what you once had, not to gain anything. Sometimes it requires gaining all in order to get rid of what you picked up along with the things you gained, thus the exempt adept's goal to perfect himself. The sign of the Magister Templi is Nothing is true, everything is permitted. (Nothing is a secret key of this law. -Liber 220) Yet his test is the ability to redeem anyone from hell: depression, sadness, misery, a duality, the Qlipoth, or otherwise, under a short period of time (ten minutes or so) even under controlled conditions. If you were in the O.T.O prior to the A.'.A.'., recall what was said in the council of the princes of Jerusalem: "All is a lie, although divine." ABOUT THE MAGUS The Magus is also called the liar. "The art and craft of the magus is but glamour." -Liber The secret of the Magus which throws a master of the temple or anyone below that grade into the qlipoth, or realms of self-hurt is called "mirror eyes" and has nothing to do with the abyss, it is far worse than the mere breakdown of the psychological universe the aspirant was living in, it is a verbal curse that turns a person's mind into a useless ball of mud, by turning the conscience against the ego, so that whatever action or lack thereof is taken all ends in constant agony and attacking yourself from separated parts of oneself. Since the Magus sees all as an illusion from direct experience, not from thinking him or herself into this state, the magus is unaffected in the long run. You simply become aware of being for a moment once again, black out and re-experience death each time you run it through your head, but when you come out of it you are ok. The Magus creates the universe, the master of the temple broke out of it, and keeps those below running around in it until they realize it was self-created. The Ipsisimus does not have a physical body, if he takes the oath of incarnation again, he falls from that grade and must start all over again from scratch, as Crowley did when he had attained as HoSuen. Once you sign the 10=1 papers you have but a few weeks at most left to live. Body and mind are symptoms of ignorance. ABOUT THE IPSSISIMUS There is nothing to attain. That's the secret. And when you become enlightened, it never concerns anyone but yourself. There are masters of the temple everywhere who hide it. Whatever you gain isn't you but something you picked up, whatever you attain will be lost. What do you have which has always been there, and not acquired from someone or something else? When you find your real being the whole world is against you. Grades are not persons, the same person is at any of the levels, only things around and in him have changed. Stop seeking a self, start being as you are. Even if it means being nobody, nothing, and doing nothing.

Stop looking for an answer, there isn't one. The whole point of taking the oath of the abyss is to learn that whatever you see being said to you is that it is your own mind doing it- eventually you stop bothering with the whole mess of paths, attainments and so on... and start living! Who cares for power, to be different, to stand out? Roosters do that and have to fight each other over who gets to fuck the hen next, all struggling to get something which doesn't exist. Nothing IS. You are already that. Look away from the body and the brain. It is the eternal blissful Void behind everything. There is nothing else. All forms are just temporary waves on the sea of it. There is nowhere to go, nothing to do, just simply stop doing anything and just enjoy the peace. Let go of all desires, happiness that depends on and comes from anything outside yourself is attachment, and thus misery or the path to misery at best, when everything falls away from time. Obstacles are self-created, you don't actually need to do anything, the whole path is just to teach you that nothing needs to be done, which is what you start doing -nothing- after taking the oath of the abyss. Anyone can fall from enlightenment, if they allow themselves to start listening to their conscience, the voice of Choronzon that separates right from wrong etc. The A.'.A.'. chief I was under often admonished me, "The cleaner you are, the more open you are to get dirty." Everyone is already enlightened, but so caught up with their head they don't stop to enjoy it. You can never lose it, only become blinded to it when you start watching the "show" too closely, or kick up dust storms (karma). No one is above anyone else, nor below. Obstacles are self-created, you don't actually need to do anything, the whole path is just to teach you that nothing needs to be done, which is what you start doing -nothing- after taking the oath of the abyss. Liber IAO's comparisons with sex and the path being identical by formula- your work is in essence stroking the phallus until it erupts, or charging/cleaning the chakras, which are locks on the soul keeping it in the body until the soul (which has no chakras) erupts from the matter, is just as easily attained by doing nothing at all except accepting everything. "The whole formula of attainment could be contained in as simple a thought of I am so small and God is so big, but this is too simple, as being complicated creatures we require training." -Crowley "There are three types of persons in the world, those who have created a large ego to fend off conscience, living in an illusionary world of success, those who have failed in this and created a small ego, living in an illusionary world of misery, and the enlightened man who has neither ego nor conscience, and lives in reality." Rather than play with things, stop attributing meanings to things. When you were young, you could look at anything for any extended period of time... no thoughts, nothing but awe at what you were looking at, with no thought of the looker. That is what comes again once the brain has been shut down. It is the biggest disappointment the ego will ever have to face.
