SKY RANCH TAGAYTAY (Travel Guide)
By: Chaterine D. Rayos
Do you want to see spectacular activities? Do you want to conquer you fear? Or maybe you
just want to experience thrill and adventure? Here’s a quick travel guide for you!
DO YOU KNOW?
Sky Ranch in Tagaytay, Cavite. Sky Ranch (or Sky Fun) is a network of amusement parks in
the Philippines. Sky Ranch has three branches; in Tagaytay, Pampanga, and in Baguio. The
first Sky Ranch amusement park opened in Tagaytay in 2013.
OUR STORY ON HOW WE GET AT SKY RANCH TAGAYTAY
Last, November 2022, me and my college friends unexpectedly planned
to go to Sky Ranch, you know; for us to celebrate fulfilling end of
midterm examination. Jezreel, Kethlyn, Cristine Jhoy including other
friends also join with us. Jezreel called me through my phone that he
will fetch me in 7/11 eleven Gulod, Batangas as so my other friends also.
We ride in a 4-wheel car and we immediately on the go! Before you go
to Tagaytay you should always take note to bring jacket because its so
cold there and a pocket money to ride on Sky Ranch.
As we are in a private vehicle and from Batangas City, our route is from
Star Tollway along SLEX to the main point Silang, Cavite to Tagaytay. Me and my friend
Cristine Jhoy take some photos on the ride!
But here’s a travel guide for you to get at Sky Ranch Tagaytay:
For Private Vehicles
OPTION 1: via SLEX Sta.
The most popular and most accessible is Rosa Exit. It is a straight drive to Tagaytay Public
Market (and right smack into Tagaytay Econo Inn). Turn right to Tagaytay city proper and
Nasugbu/Balayan/Lemery Batangas or left going to People's Park in the Sky. Usual travel
time from Makati CBD is just around one hour (except CBD traffic).
OPTION 2: via SLEX Greenfields Exit
an alternate route to Tagaytay that pass by Pramana, Nuvali, Eton City, and Paseo de Sta.
Rosa, ideal to avoid traffic build-up on Sta. Rosa – Tagaytay National Road.
Commute options using public utility vehicles
Option 1: Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), ride a bus to Tagaytay-Mendez
or Nasugbu route. Alight at Olivarez Tagaytay. Ride a jeep to Casino or Crossing Mendez and
alight at Sky Ranch Tagaytay.
Option 2: From SM Calamba, ride a van going to Olivarez Tagaytay. Ride a jeepney to Casino
or Crossing Mendez and alight at Sky Ranch Tagaytay.
After we arrive at Tagaytay City going to Sky Ranch which is our final destination. I am
amazed on how I sees some scenic view and large buildings wherein somehow; I think an
accommodation place consist of hotels, hostels and many more! Numerous malls and
establishment will encounter on the way. There is a massive difference in climate in
Tagaytay, its very cold there and you will feel that you are in top of the sky hehe. And also,
I get to see Taal Volcano and Taal lake along the highway…
That is the exact view that I see along the high-way Such a great sightseeing, right?
Me and my colleagues arrived smoothly at Sky Ranch Tagaytay. The
entrance fee is 100 pesos and it is separated from the rides that you
like to choose. Sky Ranch is a good place to forget all your problems
temporarily. Here’s our groufie before we enter in the place…
This place has a perfect view of Taal Volcano, but that’s just me. hehe…
I am overlooking in Taal Lake and for me it is a perfect spot for a good
view of the volcano.
I am deeply amazed on how can an amusement park
can be constructed in a highland, and if I were you,
I will also take instagrammable photos and videos
there. It is seen that Kethlyn, Cristine Jhoy,
Jezreel and other friends seems so happy and
enjoy to enter the place. Hehe, I have a thumbs up
symbol in my hand because Sky Ranch Tagaytay is
such a wonderful place perfect for us, a GenZ.
I also forgot that before we enter, the management of Sky Ranch
Tagaytay will give you a hand mark indicating that you are allowed to
enter in the area. You must never forget that okay?
As all of us is afraid of heights, haha our team just eventually ride in
Vikings among all the rides in Sky Ranch. I am scared and hesistant at
first; but then I realized “minsan lang naman”. Haha that’s why I’m
forda go! Because it is accidentally, I didn’t take any picture or videos
from it. But I will say, Vikings is such a thrilling and exciting ride for
us!
You can also try:
• Drop Tower
• Log Coaster:
• Safari Splash
• Sky Eye
• Zipline
• Carousel
• Express Train and many more
Here are some pictures I take in Sky Ranch Tagaytay…
I didn’t know their names but I know for sure that this ride is very popular in the place.
Hehe :D
It truly prevails that Sky Ranch Tagaytay provides a lot of activities a lot of people can
enjoy to. I am happy that I get to experience this. I saw a lot of GenZ, couples, family and
even solo travelers visiting this place. I am flattered.
I saw someone who is wearing a cute outfit and making Tiktok there. It’s just, you know Sky
Ranch draws a lot of freedom for everybody.
There is also a lots of souvenirs shop, pasalubong shop there. I just don’t take a picture
from it because I am amazed on how affordable the items present there; they are also
selling Tagaytay food products including Buko Pie, Espasol etc. Meryenda’s corner is also
present there wherein you can buy kerrimo, waffle, ice cream etc.
ATM machines is also present there that’s why it is
very convenient for all the travelers to just withdraw
money anytime. I get to see that Sky Ranch also
offering events there including concerts, festivals etc.
But due to lack of information to the place; I never get
to see that event.
And this is how my travel guide happened, I hope you
learn a lot and try to visit Tagaytay Sky Ranch, add this
to you travel list and I will make sure that this place
will renew your adrenaline and dopamine!! So, GenZ are
you ready to experience Nothing like #HappyMemories
