Suspect 1: Michael
Suspect 2: Samantha
Settings:
A small apartment in the city, where Michael and Samantha live.
Scene 1:
(Younis rings cell phone) Hello! I need help now. Someone robbed my house.
(Moments later Dective john knocks)
Younis: Come in!
Dec: What is wrong?
Younis: I have been robbed.
Detective: Do you know how they looked?
Younis: No, they were wearing a mask
Dec: Hmmm, do you have any neighbours.
Younis: Yes, a group of friends. Samantha and Micheal
Detective: Ok. I think I know enough. Don’t worry. I won’t come with nothing.
Younis: Good luck
Scene 1:
Narrator: Detective John knocks on Michael and Andrew apartment door.
Michael: (opening the door) Good evening, officer. Can I help you with something?
Detective John: Yes, I'm Detective John, and I'm investigating a crime that happened last night near
this area. Can I come in and ask some questions?
Michael: Yes. (leads Detective John into the living room)
Andrew: (coming from the corner) Hi, officer. Is everything alright?
Detective John: I'm investigating a crime, and I want to ask you both a few questions. Did you notice
anything unusual last night, around midnight?
Michael: No, we were sleeping then.
Samantha: (looking nervous) Yeah, I heard a loud noise outside, but I didn't think too much of it.
Detective John: Do you mind if I look around your apartment?
Michael: Sure, go ahead.
Scene 2:
Narrator: Detective John searches the apartment and finds a wallet with cash and credit cards, as
well as a bloody knife, in Samantha's room.
Detective John: (holding wallet and knife) Michael, Samantha, do you know anything about these
things?
Michael: (looks surprised) No, I've never seen them before.
Samantha: (looks scared) I don't know anything about them, I swear.
Detective John: (sceptical) Really? Because this wallet belongs to the victim of a crime I'm
investigating, and this knife has blood on it.
Michael: (looking at Samantha) Samantha, what have you done?
Samantha: (crying) I didn't mean to hurt her. He tried to rob me, and I panicked.
Detective John: (handcuffs Samantha) Samantha, you're under arrest for murder. Michael, I need you
to come with me to the station for further questioning.
Michael: (looks shocked) I didn't know he had done this. I am sorry.
Scene 3:
(Detective John takes Michael to the station and questions him)
Detective John: Michael, do you know why Samantha would do something like this?
Michael: (looks guilty) I know he has some debts, and I think he just borrowed money from the
victim. I didn't know he had killed her.
Detective John: (sighs) Michael, you are an accomplice in this crime, and you will be charged
accordingly.
Michael: (looks defeated) I see.
(End of acting)
