H. Starting My First Day
      TASK 8
   Reflect
SK 1 about what transpired during the day. Write your thoughts about the school, the people,
and the students. Cite two significant experiences that you had and give your insights about
   these.
On January 25, 2023 we arrived at Tabgon Elementary School for our teaching internship.
We meet a principal of Tabgon Elementary School she is Mrs. Cyren C. Alarcon. She is a good
principal because she does maintain the cleanliness of school. The principal called a meeting so
we could figure out what we were going to do. After that, we went to our assigned room. I felt
happy because the teachers of Tabgon Elementary School welcome us.
As we were going to where we assigned to the room, I observed that the surroundings of
the school were clean and each room had its own trash can, and there were also resources for
the students such as faucet so that they would not have difficulty of water because each room
has its own faucet and comfort room, and other necessary equipments. When we entered the
room of grade 6, the students welcome us with respect and smile to their face, especially to our
cooperating teacher. At first, we felt nervous, but as we spent time together it replaced by joy
and I became comfortable with them.
On February 1, 2023 this is our first teaching, I felt nervous because I didn’t know if my
teaching would be effective for them, but when I tried to teach the lesson, they all became
active and participated while I was teaching, even though they are naughty and messy
sometimes, but they are also kind. I am thankful to our cooperating teacher because she is easy
to ask for help when we need it and helps us when we don’t know. I am also grateful to the
teachers at Tabgon Elementary School, because they’ll kind and approachable teachers.
These are the two significant experiences:
      1. Active
Based on my experience I encountered that the students in the upper grade level, they
are active participated in activity whether inside or outside. And also, the students listen
properly while the teacher discusses the lesson.
      2. Noisy
The other children’s at school especially in lower grade level will be messy and naughty.
In the others do not listen to the teachers lesson. And also, sometimes the children’s
           talking with him/her neighbor.
