CONTENTS:
1. Brief Introduction to Micro-Project
An activity network, also known as a network diagram, is a project management tool that shows
the sequence of tasks that must be completed to achieve a project goal. Each task is represented
as a node in the network, and the relationships between tasks are represented as directed edges
that connect the nodes. In the context of a weather forecasting system, an activity network can
be used to model the various tasks and processes involved in generating a weather forecast. For
example, the network might include tasks such as collecting weather data, analyzing the data,
creating a forecast model, and disseminating the forecast to the public.
2. Aim of the Micro-Project
This Micro-Project aims at:
1. Analysing the data to identify patterns and trends that can be used to create a forecast
model.
2. Developing a model based on the analysis of historical data, and refining the model based
on new data as it becomes available.
3. Using the model to generate a forecast for the weather in a given area, over a specified
time period.

5. Proposed Methodology

information. Using the information gathered in the previous steps, a network diagram can be created
to visualize the various tasks and their dependencies. The diagram should include nodes representing
the tasks and edges representing the dependencies between the tasks.
